Store Visit Today! Align Pant, Base Runner Pant, Define Jacket, Speed Tight Rulu

Today's visit was good.  Which means it was bad.  Thank goodness for extended holiday returns!  Lots of new items at the store today that wasn't even uploaded to the US website.  I picked up the heathered bordeaux CRB and a pair of Align Pants in Bordeaux Drama!  I'm a size 4 in tops and bottoms unless otherwise noted.

I'm a sucker for reds and purples.  I think they look really good for my skin tone.  Also picked up this super pretty purple Swiftly SS.  I don't know what the name of the color is, anyone know?

Swiftly Tank and Base Runner Pants in Black Grape size 2.

I finally got to try on the Base Runner Pants, I may go back for these.  They're super soft and comfortable.  Oh and I noticed these run big, they're actually a size 2!  I tried on the size 4 at first and they were totally baggy around the waist and thighs.

I also got to try on the Speed Tights IV in Rulu.  I've been eyeing these ever since I saw them on the website.  They're super soft.  I don't know if I would actually run in these though?  They seem more like casual lounge pants than running gear.  I dig the pockets.  I don't know if I would spend $108 on them though.  Maybe if they hit WMTM, but who are we kidding even then they would still be $89 on sale.  Not much of a mark down!

Speed Tight IV Rulu- They make the butt look good!  But wow my hair is a wreck!

Can you tell I really love purple?  To my surprise we got the Violet in the Define Jacket.  This was only uploaded to the Canadian website and not US.  The inside is brushed and very soft.  But I think I can pass on this.  It did feel a little tight in the upper arms.  But I wouldn't have sized up.

Lastly, I also tried on the High Times Pant in Black Grape just for the hell of it.  It only confirmed that I really dislike Luon.  Whew.

  1. Did you end up going back for the black grape base runners? I'm debating getting them, they're on markdown in my store for $89 today.

    1. Yes I did! I wear mine all the time. I wouldn't mind getting another pair but don't want to pay full price.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
