Upload! October 16th 2018

Lots of jackets in tonight's upload. I'm digging the dark purples, but not the styles. Speaking of jackets I got my Lululemon order in finally and will have some Ivivva jackets to review along with the Align Joggers Crop. I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

The only thing that really interests me from tonight's upload is the Stopover Jacket in True Navy. Anything for you tonight? Let me know if there's something you guys would like to see a review of!

(Annnnnd black cherry is back!)

(I like black grape but wish the straps were different color)

(pretty color)

(I kinda like this)

(Not too crazy about this version of camo. Looks like wallpaper?)

(Has anyone tried this on? I kinda like this in the navy and lunar rock)

(I admit I could never wear these, but they look cool)

  1. The only item I’m interested in is The Rain is Calling Jacket but I got the Here to Move Jacket (which I love) just a couple months ago, plus I have a Right as Rain Jacket from years ago and a Roots rain jacket. One only needs so many rain jackets I guess. :)

Kind of disappointed with the winter down jackets. No special details and you can get something similar elsewhere, probably at a better price.

  2. I'm also interested in the Rain Is Calling Jacket but looks like the sleeves are super long. It's mainly why I can't usually do Lululemon jackets or anything long sleeve.

BTW The Ivivva jackets I got, the size 14 easily fit my shoulders. The size 12 wasn't bad either in the shoulders, but it was a little tight around my hips. I wonder if the two jackets I ordered run a little bigger than the one you tried?

    1. I was surprised that size 14 was tight at the shoulders for me too cos I have narrow shoulders, Looks like the Rain Shine Jacket runs small overall. The length is shorter than I thought too.

Can’t wait to see your review on Ivivva Jackets!

  3. Wait, why do you say you couldn't wear the zoned in tight?? I couldn't help myself, I just purchased in black, they are so cute! I'd love to see a review. I was torn between the black and the moonphase but went with the black because I tend to wear my black tights more. Also would love a review on the stopover jacket in both colors you like, navy and lunar rock. :)

    1. Zone in Tight is 27 inches long. Which means the ankles will be all baggy on me. It's one of my pet peeves. My inseam is only 26 inches. Anything that isn't a true crop length won't work for me. It's very unfortunate! I could always opt to hem, but that means I will have to take off about 4 inches for it to be fitted along my calves and at that point you lose the ankle detailing. =( I can still do a review on it of course. It will be added to my next order along with the Stopover Jacket.

    2. Oh! Yea. Huh. Well shoot now I'm worried about the length on me too. Oh well, I guess I'm gonna give it a shot. Lol. I'm 5'3" so maybe they'll miraculously work somehow. ;) Looking forward to your reviews anyhow!

    3. If you're taller than me, it might work for you. I'm just extremely short with short legs!

  4. I can’t wait for your align jogger crop review. I was debating them but still undecided until I can get to a store to try them on. You just might save me a trip there so I’ll wait for your opinion. I do love that Stopover Jacket too but have a closet full of jackets I never wear. It looks classy in navy.

    1. I'm undecided on the Align Jogger Crop so far. I haven't taken the photos yet but my initial reaction is there's too much fabric bunched around the knees, but if you leave them down it miiiiight work. I'll have a better idea once I see the photos.

  5. Align jogger did not work for me. I ordered size 4, my tts in relaxed bottoms, but it was too tight. Too lazy to try size 6.

    1. Really... I ordered my usual size 4 and I didn't think they felt too tight. But maybe they look too tight? hmmmm....

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
