Frugal February & My First Purchase!

I survived Frugal February. I like to do a shopping ban every six months. My next ban will come around August. It let's me reset and remind myself that I'll still survive if I don't give in to my wants all the time. Except this time I actually broke my ban. I ended up making a couple of purchases I didn't really need. Bought myself a bunch of Coach X Disney charms that I knew would be sold out in a matter of days. I could not resist this Dumbo charm. How could I say no to Thumper? I also bought some tees for work and another Sophie sweater blazer from J.Crew for spring. I have it in the light gray and decided the navy would be a great addition to my work wardrobe. Then I really broke my ban when I caved and bought the Glyde Scuba Hoodie on finale sale. I love the boysenberry color and didn't want to miss out. I purchased it in the size 2 and it's a fitted look which I think I do prefer. The 4 would have also fit and would have been better for

Fit Review Friday! Athleta Heat Gen Flannel, Nirvana Wrap, Finale Wool Cashmere Wrap

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe it's March! I survived my Frugal February, although I did end up purchasing the Scuba Glyde Hoodie on final sale. I'll have a review of that shortly. Last weekend I finally got a break from all the rain and took some photos of my Athleta order that was placed back in January!  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 2 or 4 in Lululemon tops, this translates to a PXS or XXS in Athleta.  Heat Gen Flannel 2.0 Sea Salt Navy Petite XS on sale! $53.99 For the chilly fall and winter months I do enjoy a soft flannel button up and the Heat Gen Flannel fits the bill. It's a relaxed fit that skims easily over the body when buttoned up. I'm wearing a size PXS and the sleeves are just right.  This definitely is long enough to cover the bum. I think these would look great paired with black leggings or blue jeans. Perfect for a casual weekend wear. My husband actually really loves this on

Upload! February 26th 2019

Fairly boring upload tonight. I like the color splash print. Other than that, not very exciting. I guess that's fine. Two days left until my ban is lifted. I do plan on placing a large order for March fit reviews. Energy Bra Color Splash (I kind of like this print. Would like to see it in a FTBW bra.) Sundown Wrap Photos!

The sun finally came out today! I managed to take proper photos of the Sundown Wrap I purchased a few weeks ago. I'm wearing my true to size 4. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in tops and bottoms. The spanish oak color is a very pretty mauve. Absolutely love how soft the cashlu feels. The cashlu is a delicate fabric but feels luxurious to touch. The sleeves are a little long on me but that's expected. This wrap has a nice oversized collar that drapes and blends well into a hood. Overall this is a very comfortable wrap. It is definitely pricey, and I wouldn't have bought this at full price if it wasn't for a gift card I had. However on sale I would definitely recommend it!  This is a casual piece that would work well with a t-shirt and jeans or even with a pair of black leggings. Definitely something I would reach for quite often.  In other news I broke my ban and bought myself the Scuba Glyde Hoodie I was eyeing.

WMTM Update & Has Anyone Tried on the Glyde Scuba Hoodie?

Happy Friday! This isn't my normal fit review Friday because it's been raining non stop for the past month! I haven't been able to take any photos on the weekends at all. So instead I have a question for all my readers out there. Has anyone tried on the Glyde Scuba Hoodie ? It's on sale for $119 and I've had my eye on it for a year or so but never got around to actually ordering it for a fit review. I'm wondering if someone could help me out to see if this jacket is petite friendly and if it's something they would recommend. I love the color and some of you know I'm a sucker for purples. Glyde Scuba Hoodie  $119 (Anyone have this or tried it on? Help a girl out!) Free To Be Bra $39 (I have this bra and love it. See more photos here .) Simply There Bralette  $39 (Now that I'm in the market for more everyday bras, has anyone tried this? Reviews are mixed. Wonder if a size 4 translates to a size small. Such a bummer it can't b
