Petite Impact

I totally was planning on writing a post on the Down For A Run Jacket but then we ended up adopting a kitten! Meet our newest member of the family. His name is Sherlock. He's three months old and super affectionate and playful. He stayed like this for hours.  I think he's really happy here. We've been looking for a new cat for a couple of months and finally found the right one. Nero on the other hand is not so happy. He's already chased Sherlock and hissed. So for now they're separated. We're going to introduce them very slowly and it will probably take a few weeks. That's all for tonight, but I'll be back tomorrow with a review! Have happy Monday everyone!

Happy Friday! I've got a slightly different review for you all today. I've been looking for a new pair of shoes for a while for work and haven't had any luck all summer. Since the weather is now cooler I switched my focus from sandals to booties and found an amazing pair by Sam Edelman. I have a few requirements when it comes to footwear. They must be comfortable and by this I mean they have to be something I can wear all day with ease. I don't have a job where I have to stand a lot, but I do walk quite a bit around the office. Even though I'm short and can use any extra height I can get, the heel can not be any higher than 1.5 inches. I don't have high tolerance for foot pain. Actually scratch that.  Let's actually make it zero tolerance for foot pain because I'm a big baby. Lastly, it needs to be versatile enough that I can wear it with any of my work pants and yet casual enough for jeans and possibly leggings. I have found the perfect pair! Dru

I know it's fall/winter but I really love these  Speed Up Short  in radiant print! I'm totally ordering them and hope I get a decent print placement. I'm also ordering the Down For A Run Jacket II in black cherry. I never bought the original version because of how long the jacket was. Hi everyone! Here's a fit review since I didn't post one on Friday. I haven't been buying as much Lululemon lately, but my most recent purchase is the Speed Up short in frozen flourish print. I'm definitely keeping this pair. I love prints and this one is right up my alley. It's a little darker than I expected it to be, but still very pretty. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in tops and bottoms. Speed Up Short Frozen Flourish   I purchased these in my normal size 4. The fit is similar to Speed Shorts. I feel like these are slightly more comfy in the waist.  These are definitely cut a little higher than Speed Shorts, but since I have short legs I find the change to be more flattering on petites. I have not tried these out on a run yet but I'm excited to finally add a pair of these to my collection.  While in New Orleans I did manage to stop by a Lululemon shop!
