Petite Impact

Happy Friday! It's been a hot and humid summer so far. I'm living in tanks and linen pieces to stay cool. Nothing has really caught my eye these days and I'm feeling very uninspired by most brands lately. I  stopped by Anthropologie and Vuori to see if there was anything interesting to try on.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS/PXS in tops and bottoms.  Maeve Cropped Baby Tee Size Medium Varley Marty Active Short Size XS I thought this outfit looked cute together, the shorts are very retro which I love. I'm a fan of Varley but their prices are steep. I'm wearing size XS and fits well. These shorts retail for $88. 😑 I love them, but I don't love them at $88. My max for shorts is $70. I have to draw the line somewhere! The Maeve tee is also cute. It's a baby tee so I sized up to a medium and fits like a normal tee. So much better sizing up! Next stop- Vuori. Another small drop from Lulu? I yawned my way through, searching for interesting items. Another disappointing drop. Which seems to be the norm nowadays. I've got my eye on a couple of new bags and a pair of boots from Since 1974. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I can't decide between the Chestnut or Rust. Happy Friday! How is it already mid July? I've been looking for a pair of shoes that I can wear when I want to look a little more dressed up instead of wearing my usual sneakers all the time. I'm also currently obsessing over nubuck and these boat shoes from Banana Republic caught my eye. The reviews were not great, mainly because of sizing issue. Almost every review complained about how small they were. Since they are on super sale I decided to take a chance and give them a try.
