Fit Review Friday! Athleta Haul! Revelation Tight, Polartec Powerlift Tight 2.0, High Rise Tropical Flow Chaturanga

Happy Friday! Now that I've tried their petite sizing, I'm really impressed with Athleta lately. It just makes me so happy that I no longer have to deal with baggy ankles (less baggy ankles at the very least). Finally someone's got it right for petites! Right now Athleta is also giving an extra 20% off their sale items for this weekend with code EXTRA20 . You can also receive an additional $15 off your first order over $100 with my referral link . Today I have for you a few fit reviews. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and usually take a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. In Athleta I tend to be a PXS. High Rise Tropical Flow Chaturanga  Tight Size PXS I've had my eye on these Tropical Flow Chat Tights ever since I saw them in an email from Athleta earlier last month. I'm a sucker for gray and white combos and this one is really perfect for spring. I don't usually do tropical themes in my wardrobe and this is actually a first for me. It's not overly d

Fit Review Friday! Athleta High Rise Quest Chaturanga To Town Tight, High Rise Quest Chaturanga Capri

Yay to another Friday! Athleta is having an extra 20% off sale items. Use code: EXTRA20 . Deal ends January 2nd.  Also Ebates has 6% cash back today for Athleta. I've been meaning to give Athleta's Chaturanga tights another try.  I bought these during the sale and picked out a few colors and sizes to try. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. High Rise Chaturanga to Town Tight Black Size Petite Small I purchased these in petite and regular sizes to try.  Here the I'm wearing the petite size small.  These fit a little bit big in the waist.  I would prefer these in petite XS.  They website was sold out of the petite XS at the time of purchase.  The high rise on these sit right underneath my belly button.  I found these to be very comfortable.   Compression wise, since these aren't my correct size, I would say it's medium compression.  For the bend test, these were not 100% opaque on me.  Best

Fit Review! Werkshop Joggers

When I saw Werkshop was releasing Joggers I knew I wanted to try a pair.  Personally I wear comfy clothes around the house and sometimes I will even wear my Align Crops to lounge in.  I also have a couple of pairs of sweatpants from Victoria's Secret that I love. I debated between sizes XS and small for a while.  My initial gut said XS but then when Werkshop commented on Instagram that most people who wear size XS would most likely prefer the small, made me second guess myself.  So I ordered both to see. What do you know, the XS fits! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and wear a size small in Werkshop leggings and a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. Joggers Black Size XS First thing I want to point out is the waist band.  It is super stretchy and nothing like their leggings.  These also sit below the waist and are supposed to hug your hips.  I'm pulling them up a bit because otherwise they give me diaper butt.   The fabric is smooth on the outside and o

Fit Review! Athleta Colorblock Powerlift Tight, Down To Town Sweatshirt + Banana Republic Melton Trench

Yesterday I went to the mall to visit Athleta.  I did go into Lululemon but didn't see anything that I wanted to try on.  They did have the new Shibori items but they remind me too much of tie dye and I'm not really a fan.  Maybe I'll change my mind if they release other colors. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.  XXS/XS in Athleta. I've been eyeing this Down to Town Sweatshirt jacket from Athleta for a while.  I wanted to see which color I preferred in person and if I was a XXS or XS, sometimes I'm in-between the two in Athleta. Down To Town Sweatshirt in Shadow Grey Size XXS This jacket is very slim cut.  It was fine for me throughout the body.  When zipped up it was just a smidge tight in the armpit area for me.  Not quite enough for me to size up unless I wanted to wear sweaters underneath.  A little trivia about me, I only wear t-shirts even in the winter.  I own maybe 3 long sleeve shirts and no sweaters at
