My Birthday Post!

Okay, so it's not my birthday... yet, but it's coming up on the 6th and that night I'll be posting my fit review Friday for you all! So my birthday post comes first. Not to worry I am taking a couple of days off from work and I'll have a nice four day weekend to do what I please. I think I'm going go on a lil shopping trip! 😆 For those who have been following my blog for the past few years know that I usually do a Frugal February month and stick to a strict shopping ban. The past couple of months I've actually been very good about not spending like a crazy lady so I think I can skip the Frugal February this year and just keep up the good work I've been doing! My bank account is actually looking decent. Lately I've been really trying to keep my spending in check. For January I only purchased three things. A wrap from Athleta, Vinyasa scarf and I managed to snag a very cute Coach bag on ebay. I'll have a review up on the bag soon.  This y

My birthday present to myself!

I am officially 37 years old. How am I this old?! I'm closing in on 40 in a few years and that is down right kinda scary. I was pretty depressed when I turned 30 and I wonder if I will feel the same way when I turn 40. I'm a pretty happy person in general, but thinking about getting older can sometimes set off a panic attack.  This is supposed to be a happy post! Moving on... so I am an online shopper junkie. I'll visit my usual websites every week and that's usually Lululemon, Neiman Marcus, Fashionphile just to name a few. I was looking up Coach 1941 bags on Neiman Marcus to check out the new Keith Haring limited edition pieces and saw this Rexy Dylan bag on sale. I know it's a return because these bags sold out back in December.  The size of the bag is very similar to my J.Crew signet bag . The Dylan bag is slightly wider at the base but other than that, the dimensions are nearly identical. I absolutely love how the leather looks burnt aro

It's my birthday!

So technically, I still have 9 minutes before I turn 36 years old. Close enough I say. Since this is a birthday post, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. Here's a fair warning, I'm not much of a writer and I pretty much write how I speak. When I was 11 years old, I met my husband. I actually don't remember the first time I met him, but he recalls exactly what I was wearing. My brother is actually the one who introduced us. One day my brother tells me, "Jared is coming over tomorrow after school, you'll like him." Hah, did I ever. I thought he was super cute. This photo was taken probably around the time he was 18 or so. He and my brother used to work at Gil Hodges Lanes in Brooklyn. That's the shirt he's wearing. This is one of the few photos he allowed to be taken of him. He's not a fan of cameras, which is unfortunate since I'm a photographer of sorts. This was taken a couple of years ago.  I think he's even c
