National Handbag Day!

Happy Friday everybody! National Handbag Day was actually 2 days ago but I still wanted to share my two latest obsessions. These bags are not new purchases. I've actually had the Speedy 30 for 12 years but only carried her once. I realized monogram really isn't my thing. It literally sat in my closet for 12 years and I would use it to store random things like cash and my passport. 😬 When I saw Coach's new fall line featuring moths and skulls , I fell in love. I found out the artist behind it all is Chelsea Champlain. Digging some more, I found her instagram page  and sent her a message after seeing she does commission pieces. I decided to send her my LV Speedy and Coach Dinky 24 . The Speedy was a no brainer. She did mention that she never painted on a LV before and was very excited to be given the chance to do so. The Dinky I already had in mind that I wanted some kind of design on it and I was originally toying with the idea of going to Coach and having th

New Card Case! Review Louis Vuitton Sarah Multicartes Epi Leather & Alexander McQueen Nocturnal Card Case

My 3 year old Tiffany crocodile card case was looking a little battered so I wanted a card holder that had a snap closure versus a card holder that was made up of 5 card slots. I looked around Louis Vuitton website to see if anything caught my eye and this Sarah Wallet in epi leather in pink made my heart sing. BTW, since when did Louis Vuitton change their boxes from brown to orange? I much prefer the brown color. The orange is just kind of murky. Sarah Multicartes The two contrasting pinks is definitely eye catching. The epi leather is made of cowhide that feels strong and sturdy. This card case has an accordion shape with 4 card compartments inside. I don't know if you can tell from the bottom picture, but the card slots are not wide enough for regular sized credit cards. I had to fit them exactly at the back of each compartment which wasn't easy to do. Maybe after a while, they will stretch for an easier fit, but I am not willing to spend $405+tax for so

It's My Birthday So....

I'll post my handbag collection!  Before I became addicted to Lululemon, I used to be addicted to high end designer bags.  The amount of Balenciagas that have passed through my hands is ridiculously insane.  I'm amazed and embarrassed at the amount of money I spent on them.  I eventually had to sell them all, but I still have a small collection. My first bag, Icon Navigator.  Purchased when I graduated from college in 2003. At the time it was expensive.  $450 I believe.  I just love the image and the leather on the bag is still holding up.  I don't wear it anymore but it's a keeper.   This is the only LV bag I own.  It's a Speedy30 and such a classic bag.  It's from 2004 and back then I paid $420 secondhand.  It's still in mint condition!  I can't believe this bag retails for $970 today! I purchased this Coach wristlet in December when all the crazy sales were going on.  As you can tell I'm a huge fan iridescent colors!  I ke
