Review! Coach Kisslock 27 in Suede and Loved Leather

Happy August! I cannot believe how fast July went. I definitely don't want summer to end even though I am getting a little tired of how humid it's been lately. But I am enjoying the long summer days, it makes the weekends feel a little bit longer.

Today I am super excited to share my newest Coach bag! I had a really hard time deciding which bag to keep. Did I go with the velvety suede or the loved leather?

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

Coach Kisslock 27 Suede

I am in such a fall mood that I've been looking specifically for a suede bag to add in my collection. First I tried the Coach Rogue 31 in suede, but ended up returning it. When I saw the Kisslock 27 in Dark Chocolate go on sale, I had to pull the trigger. Right after I placed the order I saw the Kisslock 27 in Loved Leather and I was curious to see that in person as well, so I thought why not order it and pick the one I liked the most?

This bag is pretty big, it can hold everything but your laptop. It's like carrying a Speedy 30 but without the handles. I think it is such a beautiful statement piece to carry as a clutch. The velvet suede just molds against your body.

The Loved Leather Kisslock feels much more substantial. The leather is thicker and quite soft. It doesn't have the same smooshy drape as the suede, but definitely huggable nonetheless.

The Kisslock 27 comes with a non-adjustable shoulder strap. I don't usually like shoulder straps, but it's nice that you can add the strap, in case you need to be hands free. It looks big on my petite frame but I don't think it looks overwhelming.

Let's take a closer look at the details.

Just look at this suede! This suede is so much nicer than the Rogue 31 I returned. The color is so rich and beautiful I could not stop staring at it when I first took it out of the box. It comes with matching hangtags. There are D rings to attach the shoulder strap.

My absolute favorite thing about the Kisslock bag is the leather lining. For the price, I think this elevates the bag to luxury. It's something I really look for when buying handbags now. I prefer leather lined first, then suede, and nice soft fabric. I do not like scratching fabric linings in bags. That to me is a deal breaker. For the price, I think this is really amazing.

Inside of the kisslock has a small card slot and on the opposite side there's a large zippered pocket.

Unfortunately, the lining of the pocket is fabric. But since everything else is leather lined, I will forgive Coach. I doesn't bother me that much.

Is it a surprise I went with the suede Kisslock 27? When looking at them next to each other, the loved leather just looks muted and not quite as stunning. I will keep an eye out for a different style in loved leather. I'm not writing it off completely. That's it for me! Did I make the right choice? Let me know in the comments below. Hope you all have a fantastic start to a brand new month!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
