Go Forth Goods Small and Original Handleless Jane Comparison Review!

I can't believe we are in the middle of August. This is the time of year where things start to speed up fast. Before you know it, it'll be Labor Day and then Halloween! I am looking forward to fall. It's my favorite time of the year. With the cooler temperatures, I will gravitate to my darker browns and red bags.

This post will compare the baby Handleless Jane versus the regular Handleless Jane. I initially wanted The Row 90's bag, but decided it was too small and the straps were not removable which is a deal breaker for me. Then I saw Go Forth Goods had a similar style to the 90's bag, and is also bigger. I decided to give it a try.

From Left to Right
Original Wine Handleless Jane and Small Saddle Handleless Jane

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

If you're new to Go Forth Goods, they do have a Jane with handles. It comes with a crossbody strap as well. Some customers didn't like the handles and asked if it was possible to order one without the handles. Go Forth Goods obliged. It's one of the main reasons why I love this brand. They really take their customer's feedback into consideration.

(with handles!)

This bag has removable straps and depending on your mood, you can carry it as a top handle, shoulder bag, or a crossbody bag.

When I want to carry it as a crossbody bag, I like to pair it with my Fount Guitar Strap in Hazelnut.

The Handleless Jane is basically a barrel bag or duffle bag. I think it's really cute and for me, size small is perfect. I don't carry a whole lot and the size small fits all my essentials. I've had this bag for five months and I liked it so much that I purchased a second color in Saddle. Chestnut is a stiffer leather, whereas Saddle is softer.

Here are some mod shots of the Original Handleless Jane in Wine. Even though it's just one inch bigger all around, it's a much bigger bag. This definitely looks more like a duffle on me. In this size, I only wore it as a crossbody.

Let's take a closer look at the design.

(I asked for striations and they delivered.)

(Zip top closure.)

It's a very simple barrel bag design with a zip top closure and D rings on each side. The interior is one large compartment. There's no lining and the inside is suede.

(The hide is shinier and stiffer but it is beautiful.)

(Look at that color variation!)

After testing out both sizes, I only reached for the small size and didn't go for the original much at all and I ended up selling the Wine. It was just too big for my frame. The small size really is perfect for some quick errands or even date night. It's a very simple design but the beauty is in the hides. My Go Forth Goods collection is definitely growing! Can't wait to see what else they release. That's it for me and I hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
