New Releases Week of July 21st 2026

Another small drop from Lulu? I yawned my way through, searching for interesting items. Another disappointing drop. Which seems to be the norm nowadays. I've got my eye on a couple of new bags and a pair of boots from Since 1974. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I can't decide between the Chestnut or Rust. Leave me a comment which one I should go for! Did anything catch your eye this week?

(I am not sure how I feel about these! 😅)

(This is high up on my wish list!)

(Also high up on my wish list, great fall bag)

(I really want to get a pair of their boots for winter this year.)

(Or maybe in this color? Anyone care to weigh in?)

  1. I like the Lagoon colour in those button boots, I supposed they're better quality than Uggs but they'll probably get mistaken for Uggs . I haven't been feeling it for those athleisure wear companies lately.. Just seems to be the same old all the time. I play pickleball and suprisingly Wilson has got a lot of cute designs. Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy! This brand is the original UGG though. These are handmade in Australia. I figure I should try and support the original makers. 😅 I already bought a pair of slippers from them just to see and they're really well made.

  2. Do you think Lulu is trying to reduce their overhead? I've been noticing just how much stock they've had on their website over the last several months. Maybe they're trying to rectify that with tiny drops and the summer sale they just had.

I really like that Nocturnal color at Athleta, and I love Mystic!

Between the two colors of the boots, I vote for Chestnut!

    1. Hi Lola! I'm not sure what Lulu is trying to do. Typically there's never any winter gear to purchase during the summer, but there's definitely a few down jackets available which I find super weird.

I'm eyeing Nocturnal too! Mystic is a really pretty purple/blue. I'll see if I can drop by the store and check out their new items.

Thanks! I'm kind of liking the all leather boot too.

  3. I think it will be the new norm to have a large drop during the first week of the month and then much smaller ones for the rest. Stores have a major reset overnight the first week of the month and then just work in small amounts of new weekly product after that. I actually wish it was just monthly and everything - all matching sets - would release at once. We don't need it weekly.

We'll see what happens with the new CEO, though!

I ordered the Seawheeze Hotty Hots but that's it for yesterday. :)

    1. Hi LZ! Ahh that makes sense now. I guess we won't be seeing much until August. But agree, we don't need weekly drops. Maybe they will eventually just make it once a month.

I checked out the Seawheeze items, the Swiftly's looked nice but they sold out quick.

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
