Fit Review Friday! Athleta Favorite Cotton Tank, Dream Drape MR Crop Pant and Banana Republic Linen Short Sleeve Shirt

Happy Friday! I got four out of five items from my Athleta order and I've been searching for a linen short sleeve button up and finally found one to try from Banana Republic.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta and Banana Republic. I typically wear size XS/S or 4/6 in Lululemon.

I'm wearing size XS in the Favorite Cotton Tank. It has a relaxed fit that is still flattering but the chest is very loose by the armpit. I'm debating if I want to try size XXS just in case it works better, but other than that it's so comfortable I can see why they named it the Favorite Cotton Tank. The lazy drape is so good! Made of 100% cotton and for $35 and I got it for 25% off, it is so worth it.

The fabric of the Dream Drape MR Crop is so soft and buttery. This would be great for hot summers in Atlanta. I haven't found a bottom this comfortable in a long time. I'm wearing Petite XS and the only thing I'm hesitant about is the length. I wasn't sure if I would like the petite length or the regular length so I ordered one in Black to try.

I tried to get a back shot but wasn't very successful. 😆

Almost looks like a midi skirt from the side!

I really like how this set looks like a romper, without the bathroom difficulties! I'm wearing the Dream Drape Crop Pant in size XS. The regular sizing fits the same except the length is longer. I think I prefer the longer length over the petite version? What do you guys think? The longer length hits at the shin. Price is $89 and worth it when Athleta has a sale event. My only concern is this outfit looks great with sandals, but not sure if I can wear my sneakers with this outfit??

These pictures doesn't do this shirt any justice, whatsoever. I've been looking for a flowy short sleeve linen shirt for a couple of years. I tried Athleta's version last year and it was just okay. Banana Republic's version is longer in length and has a nice drape that the Athleta version was missing.

I'm wearing size XXS and it's still quite loose on me. I like throwing linen shirts over tanks in the summer. These kind of tops get the most wear from me. The sleeves are elbow length and I would definitely roll them up to give it a more casual look. It also has a shirttail hem. I also ordered it in the Reddish Brown color. I'm undecided as to which color I like more. I think I'm leaning towards Reddish Brown but the lighter color Campground Green is better for summer. Thoughts?

What do you all think of these items? Are they keepers? I'm debating re-ordering the Dream Drape MR Crop Pant in Driftwood in the regular size XS for the longer length and pairing it with this top in the same color to create another romper look. Driftwood is so pretty. That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. 😊

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
