This is my first review filmed and photographed in my new studio! Really excited to share this one with you all. The lighting is so much better and my bag collection is now the background for my videos. I think it looks amazing. I want to thank Jared for putting together my Billy bookcases and my new flooring. I'm super happy with how it all turned out.
The first review in my new studio goes to Lululemon's Ruched Convertible Crossbody Bag in size Large in Warm Ash Gray.
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

I normally cannot carry shoulder bags, but the paracord really does keep the strap in place and it's fairly comfortable wearing it over a hoodie or sweater. I've been switching between shoulder carry and the crossbody strap and it's been working out surprisingly well. The handle drop is quite long and if I carry it by the paracord handle it almost hits the floor.
I love the wide crossbody strap. It feels very sturdy but a little stiff. I think it'll eventually soften up with more use. The quality is as on par with other Lululemon bags. I think it's made very well for the price. Retail is $128 and I have seen a few colors go on markdown for $99.
Let's take a closer look at the bag
It is extremely lightweight. The bag is made out of recycled nylon and polyester. The bag itself has some padding and it almost feels like you could use this as a pillow. It's very soft and huggable.
I love the color of this paracord.
There's very minimal branding on this bag. It has a small logo on the bottom of the bag and Lululemon is engraved on the hardware.
Canvas crossbody strap feels very sturdy.
I particularly love the adjustability of the ruching on the sides of the bag. This allows you to make the bag smaller or larger. I have it pretty scrunched up, I want the bag to be as small as possible. The slouchy-ness of the bag is what drew me in. If you love big slouchy bags, this is for you.
The inside lining could have been a little nicer, but this is fairly standard with Lululemon bags. It has tons of pockets for you to keep your items organized. I am terrible about using the pockets in my bags, but I know other people love them.
I actually really love the bag and happy to add this one to my collection. Would I get another color? I might if Lululemon releases it in a dark purple with a light lilac paracord strap. 😍 I think that would be gorgeous. What do you think of this bag? Do you have one? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for the review. The bag is a bit big for my needs but I am going to try the smaller size. It doesn’t have the side ruching though.
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you like the smaller version if you try it. The smaller one would be better for my needs too, but it doesn't have the same slouchy vibe. The small has the ruching crossbody strap, which is cute too.
