On Friday the 13th I went to the first annual Go Forth Goods Facebook Group GFG Leather Bag BSTies meetup! It's a private group but if you're a fan of the bags, definitely check it out. It's a fun group and all the members are very welcoming. You can talk about your latest bags, what bag you're currently waiting for, what's on your wish list, and you can also buy, sell, trade on the group as well.
Check out my video for a tour of the store and where all the bags are made!

Bag display - all bags are for sale.
As soon as you walk into the store, the smell of leather just hits you in the face. I personally love it. The store front is very homey and decorated with minimalist furniture. All the items are displayed for you to touch, smell, try on.
All the tassels to dress up your bag.
Nathan was gracious enough to let me take photos and video of their workshop where all the bags are made. This gorgeous Rennie in peanut looked amazing. It's too bad these were all spoken for! These are all the bags currently waiting for shipment to go out to their new owners. I definitely saw a few that I would have loved to add to my collection.
All of their bags are made right here in the US. Marietta, Georgia to be exact. All materials are also sourced in the US which is amazing. The entire team is made up of five full time workers hand crafting all the bags. We did ask Nathan a lot of questions and this small team averages about 125 bags a week. Each worker has specific responsibilities and by the time the bag is finished, it has been touched by everyone on the team. I love supporting a small business.
The bag below is the new style, called the Bucket Bag. The bag on top is Saddle and the bottom is Hickory. I love the leather Go Forth Goods uses. It's full grain, premium leather. It's the highest quality leather made from the top layer of the hide. What I really love is all the natural markings. See all those striations and the wrinkles? The veining? The big pebbles along with the small pebbles, it just has so much character and I just love the whole look. It makes each bag unique. This type of leather will age and patina beautifully. In ten years, this leather will be even more beautiful once it's worn in.
Saddle on top, Hickory on the bottom.
I have no idea what this is, but I love all those colors.
Marc on the left is the General Manager of the store. He usually takes care of customer service emails/inquiries and boxes up all the shipments.
Someone is having a lot of fun grabbing all the bags!
Small Sling at the top and Spencer on the bottom.
A couple of shots of Nathan answering questions while trying to ring up purchases. They will also sell leather scraps as well! If I were to ever dabble in leather work, I would buy their scraps to make something with.
I am very intrigued by the new bucket bag below. I think it might be on my list to try in Saddle. I think Saddle may be my favorite hide. Too bad it was already spoken for.
I went home with this beauty! It's a Medium Hoffman Crossbody. I love the color variation on the bag and the strap was the cinched the deal for me. Plus they're currently having their 12 year anniversary sale and everything is 30% off!
Grabbed a shot of me taken by Gracie Gean. Thank you Gracie Gean for organizing this meet up! It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again next year!
