Peak Into My New Studio/Office

Happy Friday! Apologies for not having my usual Fit Review Friday post. We're still so busy getting everything set up in the new house, but I wanted to share a glimpse into my studio/office space. When we lived in the condo, I gave my room to the cats and I didn't have a space for myself when I recorded my YouTube videos. I basically sat on the stairs to do my intros. It wasn't great, but it kind of worked.

Now, I'll roll my chair over to the other side of my desk and I'll have my bag shelfie as my backdrop! That's the idea anyway, I haven't actually tested it out yet. 😂 Oh, and everything you see here is basically from IKEA except for my desk which is from Crate and Barrel. The bookshelves actually have doors, but I decided not to use the doors because of the glare, which is a real shame because the doors look so good. I'll link to everything at the bottom of my post if anyone is curious. I did buy my desk from the Crate and Barrel Outlet for almost 60% off!

My view when I'm working. 😍

The other half of my room is still under construction. There's a little bit of space on the other side with a closet where I will store my overflow bags. Some bags are just not suited for displaying. For example my Balenciaga bags lay flat. I also have some Go Forth Goods that didn't fit and other squishy bags that just puddle when you set them down.

A closer look at my collection. 😍
Those are Blythe dolls btw.

If you missed it, I did a little short on YouTube with my first impressions. So far I am enjoying this bag! I would love to see it released in more colors, although to be honest I don't think I need more than one of this style, but I would consider a more fun color. That's it for me, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

(It's finally on sale! But the sale price still feels too high. 😓 Do I get it anyway? I've been eyeing it ever since it came out, it just looks so good with browns and purples.)

(These do not feel like sale prices!)

(These are actually tempting, but I haven't bought Aligns in years!)

  2. So exciting, your office is really coming together! I think the doors would have been great for a look, dust, and UV, shame. It’s funny how you can look at your bags while working, go get that bag girl! The desk is also so pretty

    1. Hi AC! I told Jared the same thing, such a shame about the doors. They're really pretty. We have them in storage so if I do decide to put them on we can. I have to get those UV windows though, I am worried about the sun coming in. And I'll just have to dust once a month, which could be a relaxing thing! Haha.

  3. I love your new office, Leslie, and I’m impressed by your bag collection and the cute bag charms!

If memory serves me right, you have a Wunder Puff Cropped Vest in iridescent Heathered Indigo. Did you get to wear it this winter? I must say Twig is a very pretty brown with a hint of purple but do you need another down vest? Here in Toronto I could always use another winter jacket or vest lol.

    1. Thanks Andrea! When I'm having a stressful day I just look over at my bags. 🤣

I do have the WP Vest in Iridiescent Heathered Indigo! I have worn it this winter. I probably don't need another one but I have wanted a more neutral vest at times when I felt the Iridescent Indigo was a little too loud hahaha. It's been a long cold winter in Atlanta which is a first in the ten years I've lived here. It's quite shocking! Maybe if it gets lowered more I might buy it.

    2. If you don’t mind having another vest, I would suggest getting the Wunder Puff Vest in Twig before your size is sold out. It’s a unique neutral color.

  4. I love your office! It's so bright and happy! And your bag collection is awesome!

I say maybe leave the vest. Twig is a beautiful color, but if you don't think it's worth the price, it's not a must-have. I agree, those "sale" prices are kind of crazy! Plus, spring is almost here!

    1. Hi Lola! Thanks!

Yeah I don't think it is worth the sale price. I am going to wait for it to lower and if it doesn't I'm going to leave it behind. Spring is definitely almost here.

    1. Hi Cindy, it is very petite friendly, there are levers to adjust the height of the seat and the arm rests can also be moved forward or back. And you can lean back as well. I really like it. Very comfy!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
