Happy to announce today's drop was more interesting than last week. Spring summer items are slowly releasing and it's been such a cold winter that I'm ready for it! Vuori has some nice hoodies but their prices have gone up too. Seems like $140 is the average price for a hoodie these days. Banana Republic also released some cute spring items! Lots to consider with my 21 items left for the year. What caught your eye this week?
(Did you guys see the price of Align Tanks right now? They can't be serious!)
(This is kinda interesting. Touristy summer vibes.)
(This is a very 90s outfit! Love it.)
(I might be interested in this, I love Softstreme shorts for summer.)
(I might be interested in trying this!)
(Love this but $144 though! Eeek.)
(This is cute, I wonder if I should try bandanas, I miss wearing scarfs in Atlanta. Maybe this is a compromise?)
(This is so cute, I wish I could pull off stripes.)
(This looks so nice for summer.)
(BR really has some of the nicest linen.)

My birthday is coming up, so if I get a Lululemon gift card, I'm going to try those EasyFive Wide Leg Pants! I'm so relieved the sizing is traditional waist sizes - I wouldn't have a clue what size to order if they came in alpha sizing.
ReplyDeleteVuori's Cerise is a beautiful color! I wouldn't mind the Energy Tee in that color, but there's no way I would pay $88 CAD plus shipping for a tee shirt! The hoodie you like is $188 on the Canadian site! Insane!
Hi Lola! Happy early birthday!! If you try the EasyFive WL pants, do let us know how you like them. I'm very curious if it feels like denim.
DeleteUgh $188 for a hoodie! That's crazy. I guess it's a good thing that I can only buy 24 items this year because even though I am buying less, the amount I'm spending will probably end up being the same! I do love the Cerise color though. I wish I had a 20% off coupon. Sometimes I get those every so often.
The EasyFive pants and shirts are an odd direction IMO. I did a double take since their landing page looked like a fast fashion ad to me. What is happening?? It's like Lulu is trying to become H&M or GAP. It used to be that people would try to pass their Lulu off as everyday wear, now it's just full on buy dress pants and a denim jacket from us. It used to be kind if fun for the occasional random piece that you could use as dressy. The special-ness is gone. I know this line will make some people happy, but to me, it's just one more step down the descent into a random, basic clothing company. Old Navy looks at Nordstrom prices.
ReplyDeleteHi there, I totally get where you're coming from and I don't disagree, they're starting to look like Gap to me with the styling of the EasyFive pants. The special-ness is definitely gone which is why I haven't bought anything from Lululemon lately. My spending with the brand has decreased a lot since pre 2022. Activewear turned into Athleisurewear and now Loungewear/Casualwear. I think they're having a hard time right now and exploring to see what works best for sales. I think with the higher prices it's a risk for them.
