Today's drop was depressing! Really think Lululemon has lost their way. We all want new designs and products but then they release something like the Cotton Twill Insulated Jacket. I mean what is that?! 😂 So nothing for me this week! My No-Buy challenge has extended itself well into February now, and not on purpose either. There just isn't anything enticing enough for me to use one of my 24 slots for the year. This may be easier than I thought!
(This is cute, if only it were offered in Asia fit.)
(I'm in the market for bralettes, this is intriguing.)
Btw, I got really annoyed at Athleta for sending me five emails a day, so I unsubscribed from their mailing list. Now I have to actively remember to check once a week for new items and there really hasn't been much that caught my eye. Lululemon is not the only one who seems to be struggling.
(I really need to try one of their DoubleSoft tops! I think this is worthy to add to my closet!)

Omg, yes! Athleta is driving me crazy!! It's way too many emails. Somehow I ended up on their mailing list three times. Each email is slightly different in the subject line (but same content.) I counted today and I deleted 12 emails from them. There were probably 9 yesterday... I'm going to unsubscribe too.
ReplyDeleteNothing for me today. The pink raincoat is very pretty, but I know I'd worry too much about it getting dirty. I like pink pearl. A few days ago, I did buy one of the heart cutout long line bras to try. I was reading reviews and some people said it looks really cute under a zip hoodie with just the top peeking out so you can see the heart. That got me. I ended up returning my first purchases after my super low buy, so I'm still feeling good about this as another possible low buy month.
Hi Stacy! 12 emails?! That is insane. Who though it was a good idea to bombard people with more than 1 email a day is insanity.
DeleteNice! Keep up the low buy for as long as you can. That's what I'm going to do too. I know this blog is supposed to be my review site, but it's turning out to be a minimalist year so far. 🤣 I'm glad you're still sticking around!
Oof, it was a rough drop day. The only item that landed in my save-for-later are the white perforated Cityverse. I have 3 pairs already, but they are all off-white, and I find myself often wishing I had a white sneaker. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteI really hope the new CEO comes in and does a major overhaul on the designs. I'm tired of them and want the unique pieces and fun details back - even if they cost a little more than back in the day. By the way, did you see that Drunk Elephant is trying to rebrand and get its older demographic back? They were getting too teen-focused and realized it was a bad direction. Hopefully, LLL realizes the same and gets back to their roots of what made them special.
Hi LZ! I still haven't tried the Cityverse. Does it a heavy sole?
DeleteThat is very interesting about Drunk Elephant. I hardly buy anything from Drunk Elephant except for my moisturizer and face soap. Had no idea they were even catering to teens! That's just crazy! Teens jump from trend to trend, it's the most unloyal age group to cater towards LOL.
I love the Cityverse! I used to be a diehard All Star/Samba girl, and now I only wear Cityverse for casual sneakers. They are so comfortable. I think they are pretty light. The selling point is they have a cushy mid-sole (that you can feel from the slot on the bottom), so you aren't standing just on the insole/outsole like most sneakers. I find them to be tts.
