New Releases Week of January 6th 2026

First drop of 2026! Lots of Ashen Rose and Willow Leaf. I'm not a huge fan of green though. I would like to get something in Ashen Rose and Twig once my January No-Buy Challenge is over. I'm eyeing the Always Effortless Jacket. How pretty is that?! (Andrea, are you tempted? 😆)

Lots of new stuff from Vuori and Athleta as well! Nothing for me but I added the Always Effortless Jacket to my cart to save it! How is everyone doing so far in 2026?

(Okay, I see you Twig, this looks amazing! Please be available on Feb 1st. 😅)

(Very lounge-y and Pajama-y vibes here. I like that she's carrying a new color in the Convertible Ruched Crossbody bag!)

(Also available in Willow Leaf)

(What a cute outfit!)

(I am liking their new photography direction.)

(I'm shocked this has sold out at $118!)

(I am very interested in this, hope to see more colors though.)

(This looks like something I can wear at the office.)

  1. You know me so well, Leslie! :D The Always Effortless Jacket in Twig is calling my name LOL!

I actually placed my new Twig color Wunder Puff Jacket side by side with my Taupetastic color Always Effortless Jacket to see if the two colors are different enough so I could get another AEJ in Twig! :DDD

I hope the AEJ is sold out in my size by the time the January No Buy Challenge is over LOL!

    1. Hi Andrea! That is too funny, how similar is Taupetastic and Twig? I'm guessing it is different enough? 🤣

    2. Taupetastic is lighter in color and more beigey. Yes the two colors are different enough, Leslie! 🤣🤣🤣

  2. I am loving the AED in Twig as well, but my size is already coming up as "only a few left". I'm trying to resist the FOMO, but I really like it.....I hope we see some more items in that color!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
