Fit Review Friday! Frank & Eileen Barry Famous Denim and Barry Italian Flannel

Happy Friday! It's already the middle of January, where does the time go? Today's post is all about Frank & Eileen's Barry, a tailored button-up shirt. I purchased both of these a while back when they went on sale and I got them for 40% off. Just be aware that their sale items are final sale. However, since this isn't my first Barry, I already knew what size to get.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. I typically wear size XS in F&E. I also wear size 4/6 or XS/S in Lululemon and PXS in Athleta.

The Barry runs small. I'm normally size XS in Frank & Eileen, but for the Barry I size up. I love their legendary denim fabric. It's extra soft and 100% cotton that tends to get softer with every wash. I already have one in a vintage faded blue, which I love but was intrigued when I saw it in this gray/brown color. The denim version has a distressed look to it with wrinkle details. It's not for everyone, but I like it.

I typically wear these unbuttoned in the summer and I'll throw it on as a layer over a tee or tank. The Barry is the most petite friendly top Frank & Eileen offers. If I were to purchase this in my normal size, it would be extremely fitted to the point where it would be too tight around my hips.

I also really love their Italian Flannel. It's lightweight, but also super soft. For the days I go to the office, I wear them buttoned up and layer blazer or vest over it.

The length offers full coverage in the back. The sleeves are slightly long, but I usually just roll them up a once or twice and I like how they look this way.

It's also freezing in Atlanta right now! I've been wearing this cozy vest from Varley a lot. It's roomy enough to layer and soooo soft. That's it for me! Stay warm and have a great weekend!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
