New Review! Quince Italian Suede Slouchy Shoulder Bag Pebble

When I placed my Quince order I had to try one of their bags as well. The Slouchy Shoulder Bag in suede caught my eye. I'm not a hobo bag kind of girl, but the slouchy style got my attention. Plus the suede looked really soft from the photos on the website. It also had amazing reviews. I had to find out if it was worth the hype.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

(Currently sold out)

I'll admit, I was very surprised at how soft and silky the suede felt. I loved touching it and feeling how pliable it was. It would puddle if I set it down. So far, we are off to a very good start.

When I put it on to see how it draped, that's where I think the bag started to lose points with me. The bottom of the bag has a stiff rectangular base with very sharp corners which doesn't drape well. The stiff bottom piece serves as a base shaper, but it goes against the slouchy design.

I just don't think it drapes well. I really liked the wide flat strap that goes over the shoulder. The strap is suede on both sides. I also like the magnetic closure.

Let's take a look at the details of the bag.

The quality of the construction looked fine to me. It was stitched and put together well. I think the quality of the suede is fantastic.

There's a slip pocket and a zippered pocket inside of the bag. If you would like to see what fits, please check out my video. 😊

I love that the inside is also lined with suede.

Here's another look at the bottom of the bag. This is where I think the design can be improved. Perhaps a rounded oval shape might have worked better?

For less than $130 it's probably a good deal. I can't tell if the bag would hold up well in the long run since I didn't keep it but I think the design of the bag could have been improved. That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

  2. Really cute bag and great review! I actually like the angles, otherwise it seems like it would be too shapeless. Too bad a snap closure isn't secure enough for my daily use. Appreciate the review!

    1. Hi there! It's a magnetic closure but yes, it's not difficult to open the bag. But I personally love magnetic closures. I'm a lazy user. 🤣

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
