Fit Review Friday! Banana Republic Corduroy Insulated Bomber Jacket

Happy Friday! Have I mentioned how much I am loving Banana Republic's fall collection? I'm really impressed with the direction they have taken lately. It reminds me of their golden era in the 90s and 2000s. They've gone back to using high quality fabrics and the designs have been very on trend without being too trendy. I love that they've brought back some of their heritage pieces. Last week at the store, the Corduroy Insulated Bomber Jacket caught my eye.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XSS/XS in Banana Republic. I also wear size 4/6 and XS/S in Lululemon.

One thing I will note, a lot of their items are not available in petite sizing. They do offer size XXS which sometimes can work. For this jacket I am wearing size XS. The length of the jacket is perfect. It has a boxy fit, but it still works on my petite frame.

This jacket is oversized. Size XS looks very similar to how it fits on the model. The sleeves are a bit long on me, but I also love the sleeve detail. The hood offers a lot of coverage and has drawstrings.

The corduroy is super soft and has a nice hand feel. I also love the pockets! The jacket has a zip front with snap closures. Price is $250 but I was able to get it with the 30% off promo they had going on. BR has sales pretty often, similar to Athleta. If it's not on sale now, just wait a bit.

The inside lining was the thing that made me pull the trigger. It is so soft and filled with extra insulation. I can't wait for the temperature to drop some more so I can wear this out! I did place an order for two more items. I have the Herringbone Jaquard Sailor Sweater and the Heritage Suede Jacket (most likely returning because it's going to be too big on my frame but I am dying to see it in person).

That's it for me! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
