Fit Review Friday! Athleta In The Clouds Jacket, Forever Fleece Relaxed Crew Sweatshirt, Forever Fleece Relaxed Crew Sweatshirt, In The Clouds Vest
Happy Friday! I can't believe it's October and my no-buy challenge is over. It actually went fairly well. For those who joined me, how did you do? I've already made my first purchase! 😂 I've been eyeing a Shinola bag that was sold out for a while and they just restocked. I'll have video and post coming up for it soon. Today's review is all about Athleta's new fall arrivals. It's still not quite fall weather here in Atlanta, but I am really looking forward to the temperatures coming down, hopefully soon.
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS or PXS in Athleta. I also wear size 4/6 and XS/S in Lululemon.

I'm a fan of Athleta's fleece items. They're soft and very cozy. I'm wearing size XS and it's true to size with room to layer. The jacket is offered in petite sizing if you prefer a more fitted look. The sleeves were slightly too long on me, but not terrible. I'm not loving the long drawstring at the collar, it just ruins the look a little for me. It looks much better if you tie the strings together into a bow.
The sleeve opening is overly generous and I love that there is a lining. This jacket should keep you warm for fall weather and layering should help extend wear to chillier temperatures.
Next up we have the Forever Fleece Relaxed Sweatshirt in Wildwood Heather. I love the contrast trim around the collar, cuff, and hem. I'm wearing size XXS and I think I would have preferred size XS though for a more relaxed fit. The length is just a little too short in the XXS.

Last but not least, we have the In The Clouds Vest in Bone. I'm wearing size XS and it's true to size. I think the XXS would have been too short for me. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the long drawstring, it's just a little distracting.

The is the perfect piece to layover over a sweatshirt. I think it looks great with the Forever Fleece Relaxed Sweatshirt.

Paired with my Vuori joggers and my On sneakers, I think it makes a pretty cute outfit. That's it for me today. Hope you all have a fab weekend!

The colors are all so nice together. I especially love your outfit at the end, even though I'd be more inclined to buy the jacket vs the vest. I agree that the drawstring is too long and a little weird. I'd be tempted just to pull it out. I doubt I would use it to tighten the collar anyway.

Hi Stacy! This was last week so I was still on my no-buy challenge but now that it is over, I am going to go back to the store and see if the drawstring can be removed. If it can I might pick up the vest. I also want to try the sweatshirt in XS. I might pick that up!
