Review! Scuba Oversized Full Zip Hoodie Waffle Heathered Mink Berry, Convertible Ruched Crossbody Bag 16L

Happy Friday! Stopped by Lululemon last weekend and they already had Heathered Mink Berry in the Scuba OS Full Zip Waffle. I have to admit, I am pretty smitten with it. I've worn the one I have in Warm Ash Gray and so far no snags.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS/S and 4/6 in Lululemon. I also wear size PXS in Athleta.

It is pricey at $148, but I think I would wear this version way more than the fleece. Did anyone else cave and buy a waffle version yet? Loving the Mink Berry color. It's a very pale pink, the type of pink that could pass for a neutral.

I also got to see the Convertible Ruched Crossbody Bag in 16L. The store had Black and Warm Ash Gray. Between the two, I prefer Warm Ash Gray. The inside lining on the Black bag is also the same color and trying to find your things in a black hole is not fun. Especially since this is a large bag.

I really like the paracord handle and the bag has a very nice slouch. The double zippers are also a great feature to have. I think when my challenge is over I'll place an order and for a more detailed review. This bag has a lot of potential and it also comes with a crossbody strap.

I walked into J.Crew to check out their new suede bags. Suede is everywhere this fall season and I am here for it. I have two suede bags in my collection and will definitely be wearing them a lot this season. I wouldn't mind eventually adding a camel or dark olive suede bag to my collection.

These two suede bucket bags have a very nice drape and feel very soft, however be aware the suede is fairly thin. They also have a very similar look to The Row's N/S Park Tote for a fraction of the price. I also stopped by Banana Republic and this outfit caught my eye. It's a very simple pairing of a cashmere crewneck sweater layered over a dark denim button up with jeans. I would never have thought to wear a denim shirt under cashmere. Makes it look very casual and modern at the same time.

I love the size of the mini zip tote, but the dark chocolate suede looks and feels more luxe. It's too bad the dark chocolate is not available in the mini size. The medium is humongous! That's it for me! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

  1. The Scuba is so stinking cute! I wish it wasn't so pricey! I will gaze at it some more on the website and hope it doesn't sell out before it goes on markdown.

The Convertible Ruched Crossbody Bag is kind of cool! Again, I'm not a fan of the price of it - I think $118 CAD is a bit much for a nylon bag.

I took a peek at the Banana Republic website for the first time in a very long time and got sticker shock again. I'm more of a Gap price-range girly, lol!

I must admit, these recent price hikes everywhere have really reigned in my spending habits, so I guess that's a positive result for my wallet :)

    1. Hi Lola! I want that Scuba, but will wait as well. The bag comes in two sizes. 6.5L and 16L. The 6.5L is $98 USD but I don't think it has the same drape as the larger size. Also agree seems expensive for what it is. I'm 100% sure it'll go on WMTM.

BR IS really expensive! But, they also have 40% off sales which is when I tend to buy. I just wait it out until I can get a promo.

Looking back on my spending this year, I have cut back a lot on clothing. But my bag habit is expensive. 😅

  2. The scuba is so cute on you! The shade of pink is pretty. I agree that it's more neutral and easy to match. I haven't seen the waffle scubas in person yet, but I will definitely look next time. I'm intrigued!

I love the look of the denim under the sweater. It's different and looks polished yet casual. Like you aren't trying to hard, but you still look good! I love the purses. The seams are interesting.

I'm not on a no buy this month...I probably should be, but I'm really trying to be way more overall conscious of what I buy this year. I'm thinking of doing a no buy next month, so I can go into the holiday sales feeling good about my wallet.

    1. Hi Stacy! I knoooow, I really want that Scuba. 😅 If you get to see it in person, let me know what you think since I can't buy it this month.

That's a good point, November will have all the sales, so going on a no buy next month is very smart! I wonder if I should try and extend my ban... Hmmmm.

  4. My pet peeve is when the model is wearing something you’re interested in but they don’t have the item available to buy! I noticed the model for the waffle shorts is wearing a mink berry scuba oversized cropped half zip funnel neck but they don’t have that color. I wonder if it’s sold out. It’s not on the US or Canada site

    1. Hi Cindy! I really want that Mink Berry Scuba~! Hopefully it'll still be there in October. Just 2 more weeks to go! I don't think I've seen that half zip funnel on the US site. It might be dropping this week?

    2. Hi Janessa! Thanks so much! If you get to see it in person, let me know what you think! I'm trying to make it to October before I purchase anything. Agree with Cindy, this is a piece I don't want to miss out on... so it's hard for me to wait!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Fit Review Friday! Allbirds Tree Glider - 15% off Your Purchase!

Hi everyone! I'm posting from New Orleans. I'm hitting up a Lululemon while I'm here. I always like to visit other Lululemon stores when I'm traveling. I was planning on having an Aviator Nation review for you guys but Hurricane Helene threw my plans out the window. So I will try and have it up when I get back to Atlanta. In the meantime, here's an Allbirds review.  For reference my street size is 5.5. I'm usually a 5.5 in Allbirds, but for the Tree Gliders they run large. I took these in a size 5. Definitely size down. I've partnered up with Allbirds! Super excited to share my  personal link . Click on  my link  for a 15% off.  Tree Glider Natural White Beige/Blizzard Sole  Size 5 I went to visit the Allbirds store in Avalon and got to try these on in person. I love how they use their shoe laces as the handle to carry the shoe box. It's really cool and love how sustainable they are. Even the packaging is well thought out. Plus you get an extra pair ...
