New Releases Week of August 26th 2025

Lots of new stuff caught my eye this week! Lululemon is my least favorite, really liking Varley and Quince (I will have a Quince review coming up soon). I think a closet clean out is due. I have to take inventory of my fall/winter clothes and see what can be weeded out. Anything catch your eye this week? Let me know in the comments!

(This is the kind of red I can pull off!)

(New crops! Because I could use some more cropped pants!)

(And another!)

New From Athleta

(Interesting to see wired headphones are popular again.)

(New color!)

(Love this vest, and this is a great fall color.)

(Love this! Would be a great sweater for the office.)

(This would work well under hoodies/blazers/cardis)

(Super cute outfit!)

(Naked Cashmere had this last year for $800 if I remember correctly!)

(I recently discovered this brand and I am obsessing over these leathers. They have bison leather and I am very interested to see how that is in person! Bonus - affordable and made in the US. Currently running a 25% off everything with code LABORDAY.)

  1. If the Luxtreme Slim Fit Pull On MR Cropped Pant are an updated version of the On the Fly pants then I may be interested!

    1. Hi Karen! Okay those pants are new, because I went to look at my older fit reviews and thought it was the Luxtreme Tapered Leg MR Crop Pant that I also tried on in Graphite Gray, but it has the drawstring on the outside and a ruched waistband in the front. I am now interested too! LOL

  2. I like the Athleta office looks, less so from LLL but still a nice preppy look that could translate to the office. We have officially entered Sherpa slipper season to pair with pilliowy sweats 😊

  3. I haven’t been buying much from Lululemon anymore. And now, they have an updated style on two of only a few of my staples- the Speed Up shorts and Swiftly Relaxed shirts. The newer styles don’t fit me well and look horrible. I’m so sad. Is there any more reason for me to step into their store? (But, still love following you.)

    1. Hi there, same here. I have only purchased a handful of things from Lululemon this year. Thanks for sticking around my blog. Hopefully some of my non Lululemon reviews will help you find something new. Although I don't review much active wear anymore.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
