New Releases Week of August 19th 2025

A bit of a boring drop today. I really wish Lululemon would offer petite sizes for their joggers. Until then I'll stick with Vuori and Athleta. In other news, I'm really impressed with Banana Republics offerings lately. Very stylish but also very wearable. Check out Frank & Eileen's latest Mini Belfast in Toasted. I'm in love it's so pretty! Who else is ready for fall clothing? 😍

(I wonder what the new changes are?)

(This is a cute outfit.)

  1. The hot streak ended where we are, and we are suddenly in jacket territory. I have started to lean in to and finally caved and bought shearling slippers. Probably about 2 years behind, but just can’t wait for that cozy feeling.

    1. Hi AC! I can't wait for jacket and hoodie weather TBH. This summer has been too hot. I love a brand new pair of shearling slippers! I've been looking at a new pair too. They generally last a few years before all that shearling gets worn down.

  2. I haven't tried the updated Align Joggers yet, but they have different pockets that aren't so obvious from the front stitching. They are also supposed to have a more relaxed fit in the legs. Maybe we'll see a short version soon since DS Joggers and Adapted State Joggers now have one.

    1. Hi LZ! Oh I hope they will release a short version for the Align Joggers. I wouldn't mind relaxed fit in the legs either. Sounds like the updates are really good!

  3. Yes! I'd love for our weather to calm down. It's 99 degrees today and I can't imagine putting on pants or a jacket yet, but I'm looking forward to mid-November when it finally starts to be cool enough for layers!

All the floral breeze print is kind of odd. It doesn't seem to work in army green or white/blue, and the flower placement is kind of sparse. It looks like haphazard polka dots from far away. I sort of like the cirrus wash fog green bay leaf palm deco shirt (what a mouthful, they couldn't just call it palm green or bay leaf?), but not enough to buy it.

The toasted color of the Mini Belfast is so pretty! I love the look with jeans and white button down. I have no use for it, but if I did, I'd be extremely tempted.

    1. Hi Stacy! I did look at the Floral breeze print, and it is a mix of flowers and paw prints for me lol. Very odd to be honest. I absolutely love the Mini Belfast in the new color. I already have one that I got on sale and it is amazing. I actually can't wait to start wearing it again. I have to really think if I can justify another one. I try to buy only on sale.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
