Lululemon Store Try On Scuba Oversized Full Zip Hoodie Waffle Heathered Warm Ash Gray

Happy September! I stopped by Lululemon to see if they had the Luxtreme Slim Fit Pull On MR Cropped Pant, and they did not. I will have to order them online. They did have the Scuba Oversized Full Zip Hoodie Waffle in Heathered Warm Ash Gray I was so happy to be able to see this in person and compare it with Heathered Graphite Gray.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4/6 and XS/S in Lululemon.

I tried on the Heathered Graphite Gray a couple of weeks ago, and this time they had the Warm Ash Gray for me to compare. I really love both colors in this hoodie. The waffle version is just so much softer and not quite as oversized as the original version. Definitely more petite friendly as well.

I decided to take the Warm Ash Gray home with me! If I really love the fit and feel, I will probably go back for the Graphite Gray. You really can't go wrong with either one. I guess I need to get rid of a couple of my hoodies in my closet. I have way too many.

Did you order a Scuba in waffle? Do you love it? Let me know in the comments! I am hoping the fabric will not snag easily. If it does, I will not be getting a second one. That's it for me! Hope you all have a fantastic start to a brand new month! I am going on a September no-buy month and if you're joining me, stay strong!

(I love the subtle sparkers on the mid-sole. I didn't notice it in the stock photos on the website, but it's more apparent in person.)

If you have seven minutes to spare, this video is a special request from someone on the PurseForum who messaged me directly to compare the leather and the color between these two bags. Jared also makes his first appearance as a guest! 😅

  1. Hi Leslie,
I saw the Waffle Scuba in person over the weekend. While the fabric is nice and soft, I find it too thin and doesn’t justify the price. It does look cute on you though and the sleeves are not overly long.

It’s getting cooler lately and I can finally wear my hoodies. :)

    1. Hi Andrea! The price is high. I almost wonder if it's because of the tariffs. I'm expecting prices to really go up in the US. But the weight is perfect for the weather here in Atlanta. The regular versions are too hot for most of the year in Atlanta. This is more versatile for me. I'm still waiting for the temperature to drop some more before I can wear this!

  2. I love the drape and look of the scuba waffle so much more!! I love the ash color you bought on you and prefer it to the heather graphite (which I feel is such a common color)

    1. Hi Janessa! Agree, it has a better drape. Graphite Gray is fairly common, but it's also so easy to wear.

  3. I got the waffle hoodie and pants in Blue Twill. Pants are currently being hemmed (so long for shorties!). The Midwest is just now starting transitional weather and I think the weight of these will be perfect. Yes, expensive, but I agree that this will be so much more versatile than the regular Scuba.

    1. Hi Carolyn! The waffle set is super cute. Agree, it is expensive, but if I wear it more often than the regular version, it'll be worth it cost per wear. I'm so bad at getting things hemmed, that I will no longer buy if it doesn't fit. I have a pair of Athleta pants I love but never got to hemming them, and they're just sitting in my closet! I keep saying, one day.... lol.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
