Fit Review Friday! Mother Denim Petites The Lil Mid Rise Dazzler Ankle Fray

Happy Friday! I know what you're all thinking, denim in this hot humid weather? To be honest, I probably should have waited until fall to buy these, but I was looking for a lighter pair of jeans and this pair checked all the boxes. Sometimes it is hard to determine how fast petite sizing will sell out. This pair was exactly what I was looking for and I didn't want to chance it.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 27 in Mother denim. I also wear size 4/6 in Lululemon and size PXS in Athleta.

It is so rare for me to find a pair of jeans that fit so well. I'm on the short end of the vertical stick and these hit exactly at the bottom of my heel. The inseam measures 25.5 inches. I do intend to trim some of the fraying. This is my second pair that has fraying, and the first pair has held up well after the trimming. I absolutely love the light whiskering and fading at the thigh and knee.

This particular pair actually fits slightly loose on me, but I'm totally fine with that. I an in love with the fit and how comfortable these are. They're stretchy and so soft. They don't feel restrictive at all.

After this pair, I now have four pairs of Mother jeans. I think that will probably be it for me. I think four pairs is enough. How many pairs of jeans do you have in your closet? And let me know if you wear jeans in the summer! It's a definite no for me, but Jared wears them everyday, no matter the temperature! 😳 That's it for me, hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

  1. That is a cute pair of jeans! I always get excited when I find a pair that doesn't require hemming. I wear jeans more than anything else, and I have way too many pairs, to be honest. Many of them are outdated though, so I probably should donate/try to sell them. And yes, I wear them in the summer too!

    1. Hi Lola! Oh wow, I still wear my joggers the most. But this summer I am trying to wear my shorts more and it's so hot, I think I would melt in jeans if I were to go outside in them. If you ever get to try Mother denim, I would love to know what you think!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...
