New Releases Week of June 30th 2025

Early drop today likely due to Canada Day tomorrow and July 4th holiday coming up in the US. Thank you Andrea for the heads up. Lots of Dark Red and Aurora Haze Purple in today's drop. I'm interested in a couple of things as you'll read in the captions below. Let me know if you picked anything up from the drop. There's also a really good Vuori end of season sale going on right now.

I think between the two, I prefer the cropped Define.

(It's too bad the embroidered logo on the back of the hood isn't gold.)

(Added to cart, will see if I end up checking out!)

(I actually really like this! Adds to cart.)

  1. Hi Leslie,
The On My Level Tote Bag 19L in Wash is cute! I’m not sure about the D-rings on the strap though and wish they had better pictures about the product. I kind of prefer the metal hardware they used on the original 20L version and can’t wait to see your review!

The Aurora Haze Purple print is pretty but you will have to cherry pick the right one in the store cos I’m sure every piece will look different. I really like the pants the model wears with the “Align Tank Aurora Haze Purple” (the 7th picture) but not the “ Align HR Pant 25" Aurora Haze Purple” shown in the 9th picture. ;D

    1. Hi Andrea! I wish they had better pics of the bag too. They say the strap is padded but doesn't really look like it to me... I guess we'll see.

True, I forget sometimes that you have to cherry pick the print. I totally see what you mean!

  2. Oooh I like the Aurora Haze Purple. I agree, it would be kind of a gamble to order anything in that print, since it could look so different. My favorite thumbnail of that print is the Align Tank. I will probably snap up a pair of shorts if/when they come out. I'm also digging College Purple - I hope there will be lots more released in that color!

    1. I am definitely a fan of all purples. Looking forward to seeing more of Aurora Haze. Will probably have to take a look at these items in person.

  3. I agree with everyone! The Aurora Haze print is beautiful, but it would be better to have some options when choosing the print placement. I love College Purple too. I'm just not sure what I'd buy in either color. Not to sound old, but I really miss the CRB. I would definitely get both colors in a CRB.

I'm always tempted by dark red each time the release it. I'm pretty sure I've bought shorts in it before, but I can't remember if I still have them somewhere or sold them. I remember I could get the style that I wanted, so I got some reverseable ones with a funky print on the inside...I'll have to dig around before ordering.

    2. I found them! I looked them up, apparently the Choose a Side shorts are Ruby Red because I also found a pair of Dark Red Speed Ups (very slight difference in the reds). Along with multiple pairs of purple shorts in various shades, a few with tags still attached...so I guess I'm all set there. *sigh* I need to dig around in that drawer more often and not just use the few pairs sitting on top.

    3. Hi there! I used to wear CRBs! Then I switched to Swiftly tanks, and then ended up with EBS tanks! I do not have a pair of red shorts. I normally avoid bright colors, but I always tell myself maybe I should give it try...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
