New Review - Summer Tees! Banana Republic Vintage Cotton Crew Tee and Anthropologie Evan Short Sleeve Raw Edge Baby Tee

Happy Friday! I cannot believe it's mid May. It's really starting to feel like summer in Atlanta right now. It's 80s and muggy. 😅 I went shopping for a couple of new summer tees and found some in Banana Republic and Anthropologie!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

Size Medium

I know, I'm just as surprised as you are, I am wearing size Medium in this tee. I normally wear size XS in Banana Republic but this tee runs very small. It is a slim fit t-shirt and when I looked at the cuffs on the short sleeve, I knew I needed to size up. I love the ringer tee look with the contrast collar and cuffs. Gives it a very 70s vibe. This tee is 100% cotton and it feels really soft. The length hits at the hip on me and would look great with a pair of summer shorts. I really dig the palm trees!

Next, I went into Anthropologie to browse and saw this baby tee and could not believe how soft it felt. The fitting room pics do not do this tee justice. Normally, I am not into baby tees at all, but decided to try it on in size large, to see if it would fit me like a regular tee.

I am wearing size Large!!

And yes, size large fit me like a regular tee. I have no idea why baby tees are in again, but thankfully I can just size up by three sizes and it looks normal. 😂 If this tee didn't feel as soft as it did, I probably wouldn't have tried it on at all.

This tee comes in a lot of colors, but my favorite is Taupe and Sky. It's a thin tee with raw edges, but I am in love with it. The lesson I learned is to just try it on and size up if you have to! Sometimes it works out.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! 😍

  1. This is a good reminder to pay attention to the fit, not the size in the tag!

The shirts both look great on you.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
