Fit Review Friday! Athleta Retreat Linen Mid Rise Short and Banana Republic Everyday Linen Shirt Plus Athleta 25% off Sale and up to 50% off Styles!

Happy May! I think this month I am going to focus on a closet clean out. I would like to free up some more space in my closet so I'll probably list some items up on Poshmark and donate the rest. It's starting to warm up in Atlanta. It's been 80-85 degrees or so now during the day which means it is time to wear linen pieces!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta and XXS/PXS in Banana Republic.

(On sale 40% off $41.40!)

Athleta linen shorts have been my go-to shorts for warm weather. They're super comfy and I am loving the color Eden. The color Eden is more blue than it is green. I'm wearing size XS here and they're a little roomy, but I prefer it that way. These are mid-rise and the waistband comes up to my belly button.

There are two zippered pockets at the front and a drawstring tie at the waist. The inseam measures 4 inches and they hit mid thigh. The linen is soft, super breathable and light weight. They're currently 40% off!

I really like wearing a linen button up over a tank top in the summer. It's lightweight and I will often use it as a cover up layer from the sun. Banana Republic has some really nice linen tops. I purchased some last year and they have held up beautifully. Linen does get wrinkly, so I have to steam these items after I wash them. They are machine washable - gentle cycle and I usually line dry or tumble dry low.

(on sale $79.99!)

I'm wearing size XXS here and it's a very nice fit. The Everyday Linen Shirt comes in 8 different colors, so if this one isn't for you, there's a lot of other choices to choose from. This top also comes in petite sizing, but the XXS fits nicely.

I think this linen top is super versatile. Casual enough to throw over a tank and I can also wear this to the office. Currently on sale for $79.99 and take another 20% off with code BRAFF

I wouldn't mind getting a pair of their linen ankle pants. I have have to give these a try. Do you love to wear linen in the summer? Let me know in the comments below if you have a favorite linen item.

That it is for me! I am SO ready for the weekend, it's been a crazy work week. Definitely check out the Athleta sale. I'll post a few items I'm eyeing. Have a fantastic weekend!

    1. Hi AC! Yes a white shoe, or light colored tan would work well!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
