New Releases Week of April 1st 2024

Happy April!! We made it! I placed my Coach order already for the Empire 28. That was number 1 on my wish list. What did you all order after the No Buy Challenge ended? I'm still debating on my Vuori order. Really wish the Villa Ankle Pant wasn't sold out in Chia. That was my number one pick from Vuori. Also want a pair of Hotty Hot HR Short 2.5" in Hawaiian Blue. I will stop by the store this weekend to see if they have them in stock.

(Hmmm will this be my first Lulu purchase of 2025?!)

(Has anyone tried these yet?)

(This is pretty cute!)

(This is performance linen?! I am intrigued.)

(Super cute matching set.)

(I think this is really cute, may order this!)

  1. I like the look of the stretch satin nylon pants a lot!! They look more streetwear and remind me of adidas pants. They are pricey though but I wonder if they look really nice. -Janessa

    1. Hi Janessa! The matching set does look pretty cool. If I see it at the store, I'll check em out.

  2. Hi Leslie,
I’m loving the Tree Dasher Relay in Hanami Plum but I doubt if this color will ever show up on the Canadian site. :(

Nothing for me from the new LLL upload. I’m hoping to see the Always Effortless Jacket coming out in Lavender Lux.

    1. Hi Andrea! Yes! Hanami Plum is really pretty. I hope it does show up for you. I actually am interested in trying the Tree Dasher 2 Utility. I like that they updated the sole and added more traction.

  3. Nothing new caught my eye this week, but I do like Lavender Frost and hope to see more in the coming weeks. I didn't join the no buy month, but I am trying to be a lot more mindful of all purchases - especially because I'm in the process of moving! It has made me clean out my closet and try to prevent accumulating even more to move. I am "slow moving," so I have about half of my clothes at the new place and half at the old one...and could totally live with the half that's here and not miss the rest too much. Hmm...

    1. Hi LZ! Lavender Frost is really pretty for spring. Ohhh! Moving is the best time to downsize and go through all your belongings to see what can go and what you want to keep. If you think you could let go half your wardrobe I would say do it. You'll feel so much better!

  4. Hi Leslie. Is the trade winds skirt an old style. When I click on the link it says sold out. I bought one from GU in Japan (a bit too long , have to roll up waistband or get it shortened) but I’ve been looking for a petite friendly maxi bubble hem skirt that I won’t have to shorten. Has anyone come across one?

    1. Hi Cindy! Wow, I am shocked that it's gone from the website. They must have taken it down because I'm almost 100% sure that wouldn't sell out.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
