New Releases Week of March 4th 2025

Nothing for me today as it's my no-buy month, but lots of Twilight Rose and Goodnight Plum. I am very interested in the new Softstreme HR Wide Leg Cropped Pant in Goodnight Plum and Sheer Oak. I'll try and see if the store has them over the weekend for a store try-on review. If I do end up loving them, hopefully they'll still have my size in April. 😅

Athleta also has new arrivals and I am loving their Retreat Linen line. Eden looks so beautiful.

Anything for you today?

(😍 I'm such a sucker for this color.)

(I actually would be interested in these for the office. Hopefully my size will still be available in April!)

(Also available in Washed Denim.)

(This color looks so pretty in linen. 😍)

  1. I'm eyeing the rain rebel in twilight rose. I've been really wanting a neutral pink raincoat, since it will match so much. I teach at a school where we play outside rain or shine, so I've been on the hunt for either a deep purple or a neutral pink raincoat. I use a dark red one a lot and then a lighter green one, but I'd love one more color for those rare times when the dark red or light green just doesn't match my outfit. I'm participating in the no buy though, so I can wait a bit before purchasing. I think I'll keep it saved my basket and keep an eye on it, just in case, lol

    1. Adding that I did cave in on getting the spiced chai two tone mini tote on 2/28. I received it yesterday and it is gorgeous!! No regrets. :)

    2. Hi Stacy! Ohhh the Rain Rebel in Twilight Rose would work with your new mini tote! But yes, keep an eye on it. =D I'm almost 100% sure it'll still be there in April.

  2. I like the clean lines of the rain chaser jacket but may be too cropped for me. The relaxed define jacket is interesting and more my speed. Oh well, I don’t need to add yet another jacket to my closet.

    1. Hi AC! If I see the Rain Chaser Jacket in the store I'll give it a try. Will let you know. I really like the clean lines of it too. I don't need another jacket either but it is fun to look!

  3. Nothing for me! I don’t LOVE any of the colors right now at LLL. Some are pretty but I have enough workout clothes so I’m not interested in most of it. Maybe some unique piece or a style I like a lot but the prices are deterring me. I am doing a low buy March too and wearing the clothes I already have but trying to style them with different pieces -Janessa

    1. Hi Janessa! Yay, I'm glad so many are joining me this month in the no buy, low buy challenge. I'm in the same boat, I have enough workout clothes. I'm not great at being creative with my outfits. Sometimes I want to work on that, but other times I am too lazy. =D

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
