New Releases Week of January 14th 2025 - Lunar Drop!

Finally! Lunar New Year drop is here! The Define Jacket is super pretty I love how the design is very subtle. I wish I wore Define Jackets. The Everywhere Belt Bag also has the print, but I already have one from the year of the rabbit... Do I need another EBB tho? I'm on my no buy January so I guess it doesn't matter at the moment but in case it's still available come February 1st? Will wait and see. The socks with the snake is also pretty cool.

I'm staying strong! We're almost halfway there. For those not on a ban, or even if you broke it to buy something from this drop, and I totally get it if you did, what does everyone think of the LNY items? Let me know in the comments!

(also comes in Light Ivory)

(This is really well done.)

(Doesn't look like much on the outside but the lining is very nice.)

    1. Hi there! Yes it does. It's a good fall/winter color. I used to have it in a pair of leggings.

  2. I’m not a red person so my wallet is safe. :) The Define Jacket in Pink Haze/Rose Gold is gorgeous though.

    1. HI Andrea! Same, I am not a red person either, but they have some items in White Ivory with red as the accent color which I prefer more. The Pink Haze/Rose Gold Define is very pretty for spring.

  3. I restrained myself and only ordered the LNY Cityverse sneakers. They are so cute!

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but the prior year's Scuba had a shiny gold zipper but dull gold zipper track. They fixed it this year, so both are shiny gold - confirmed in-store! It bothered me last year. I was tempted by the pullover with the shiny gold embroidery, but it's too much branding for me. I wish they had done a small wordmark with a snake, off centered on the front, and then the centered logo as-is on the back. Too bad they didn't ask me, lol! The embroidery is nice quality, though. I liked the Steady State 1/2 Zip, but it's screen printed instead of embroidered - or I probably would have ordered it, too.

    1. Hi LZ! How does the Cityverse sneakers run size wise? Upon a closer look they are really cute.

Agree with the gold branding is a little too loud. A snake would have been so much better use for the gold embroidery.

Glad they finally matched the zipper pull with the zipper track! About time hahaha.

    2. I find the Cityverse run a little bigger than the other sneakers. I'm a 6.5 in Blissfeels and Chargefeels, a 6 in Restfeels, and a 6 in Cityverse. The 6 still feels slightly roomy but not enough to size down to a 5.5.

    3. Thanks LZ! I may be a size 5 in the Cityverse. I take a 5.5 in the Blissfeels and Chargefeels. Will see what's left by February. =D

  4. The Lunar New Year Cropped Define Jacket is really cool! I'm not a red person, either, so it isn't something I'd purchase. I also really like the Cityverse shoes - the red accent really pops against the white.

I'm trying not to look too much at my usual shopping sites - I don't want to be tempted!

    1. Hi Lola! Same here, I look, but I don't look too closely, know what I mean? So far it's kind of working. The in store shopping is worse. But now that we are half way into the month, I think I can make it to February. I'm getting used to it, oddly enough. It's not so bad!

  5. I love the embossing, but I don't see myself wearing the define and I'm not an EBB fan (unpopular opinion, I know!) I wish they would've done some of that same snake embossing on aligns, especially if they had done that in a black version. I'm sucker for black embossed aligns! I really love the handle on the camera bag. It's so tempting. But, I have a MJ camera bag that I never use because I find it bulky. I agree the tote was missed opportunity. It kind of looks like someone was wearing a red shirt and the color bled onto the white fabric? Maybe it looks better IRL? They could have done a light colored snake printed across it and that would've looked really cool. So far, nothing beats the dragon logo print on the sweatshirt (men's line, I think?) that I purchased last year.

    1. In working on my new year goal, I decided to let go of some of the pieces I've purchased and still really like the look, but have yet to remove the tags...after like 2+ years, haha!! I sold off my Wunder Puff Jacket. It was cute, but I live in California, so it was just a wear in Tahoe once a year piece. I'm fine with just my ski jacket. I'm debating if I should get rid of the 2 Wunder Puff vests too. Slightly more wearable, more often, but they take up so much space! Anyway, I feeling good that my sell pile is growing a bit!

    2. Hi Stacy! It's gonna be hard to beat the dragon stuff they had last year. It's the best zodiac sign. I wonder if they will do something for the year of the Rat and Pig. hahahahahha.

Nice work on your new year goal!! I have one WU vest that I do wear a few times during the winter. I do remove the hood, otherwise it's just so bulky, maybe try that? Where are you selling? I have some stuff listed on Poshmark, but generally it's been pretty slow with a lot of low ball offers which is a bit annoying.

  6. I love the new lunar new year define and solar grey color. I haven’t been on here as much cause I was trying to do no buy and things have been crazy but it is not really working xD

I actually got a black define cropped as a gift and love to wear it ice skating!

    1. Hi Janessa! Is it black with the gold zippers? That one looks so nice! I've been good so far with the Lunar New Year items. I had my eye on the Cityverse but my size already sold out.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
