Fit Review! Zadig & Voltaire Mirka Stars Cashmere Cardigan and Naked Cashmere Zena Ribbed Cashmere Cardigan

 

Happy Friday! This is the last Friday for 2024. It's been really cold in Atlanta lately and definitely cashmere weather. Every winter I like to add a couple of new cashmere pieces to my wardrobe and I found two that I really love. They're also on sale right now! Well to be fair, everything is on sale right now. 😂

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. I typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops, size Petite XS in Athleta. I'm wearing size XS in both pieces featured in this post. 

Mirka Stars Cashmere Cardigan Anthracite Size XS

This is my second cashmere piece from Zadig & Voltaire. I really love the star motif. Reminds me of Coraline's sweater, so I have to have it. I'm wearing size XS and it fits slightly oversized on my petite frame. The cashmere is very soft and not itchy. I wore this to my holiday party with a tank top underneath and loved wearing it. There's also a side slit at the hem.

The back of the cardigan also has stars throughout. I usually like to button up my cardigans, but this one looks so much better unbuttoned! I really love the drape. 

Looks very effortless with jeans.

Next we have Naked Cashmere. This season, they haven't had a whole lot that I was interested in, except for this Zena Ribbed Cardigan. It is an open cardigan without any closure, but it's heavy enough that it will keep you warm and toasty. I'm wearing my usual size XS and it also fits slightly oversized.

Length of this cardigan offers full coverage. The sleeves are a little long and also very roomy but the fit does look like it does on the model from the website. I could easily fit another sweater underneath. I'm loving the side slit detail, it drapes so nicely. 

I typically don't wear cashmere around the house because of my five cats, but this one seems sturdy enough that I think it'll hold up decently. I've been wearing this like a housecoat and it makes me happy. Don't get me wrong, I'll wear this outside the house too.
