Fit Review! Mother Denim Lil Mid Rise Zip Ramber and Lil Insider Crop Step Fray Plus 20% Off Entire Site!

 

Happy December! This is the first time Mother denim is having a 20% off sale this year. Code is LETSCYBER - full priced styles. I wish I had known this was coming because I would have held off buying these jeans!

P.S. I know there's an early Lululemon drop happening but I am not able to stay up for it. Will update tomorrow!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size 4/6 in Lululemon bottoms. Size PXS in Athleta. Mother denim I am size 27 petite.

2024 has been the year of the return of denim (at least for me). Beginning of 2024 I made one of my goals to wear jeans again. Ever since I discovered Mother denim, there's no going back to anything else. I've been eyeing these jeans for a long time and finally bit the bullet. I wanted a pair of straight leg, but not too wide and these are absolutely perfect. I'm wearing my usual size 27 petite and love the fit. It's slightly roomy, but soooo comfortable. 

The length is 25.5" and they are perfect with my Allbirds. These are expensive, which is why the 20% off is such a good deal. I've tried on other brands this year and nothing beats Mother denim for me. 

Night in Venice is a super dark gray blue. They almost look like black in low lighting. They're super soft and has a decent amount of stretch. They're mid-rise and hit just a bit below my belly button, which is my preferred rise.



Next up we have Petites Lil' Insider Crop Step Fray. I already have a pair of these in another wash and love them so much that I wanted another color. For some reason, this particular wash recommends a size up. I ordered these in a 28 petite.


The website is correct, they run small at the waist. The 28 petite fit perfectly. I however did not like how much this pair flared out. They're bootcut style, but it almost looks borderline flares on me. Not a fan. So these went back.


The Off Limits wash is a medium to dark blue with some whiskering and slight fading at the knees. Beautiful blue denim. This also has a decent amount of stretch as well.


The length measures 24 inches with a decent amount of fraying at the edges. The mid rise also hits right underneath my belly button.


Overall, love the color but just did not love the flaring on this pair. That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonder Cyber Monday. If there's anything really good from this early Lulu drop, let me know in the comments below!

    Hi! Just wondering what your hip and waist measurements are. I'm 5' tall. I live in Mother jeans but I haven't tried the petites. I see that the rise and length are shorter. Overall, is the petite sizing similar to the regular. I find that sometimes petites run smaller. Thanks!

      Hi there, my hips are about 34.5. My waist tends to expand during the day which is why I get the 27- gives me room to breath. I have not tried the regular sizing, always went for petite. Hope that helps!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

  Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

  So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

  I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48.
