Review! Quilted Grid Tote Bag Mini 5L Plush Fleece and Everywhere Belt Bag Plush Fleece

I can't believe Thanksgiving will be here in a little over two weeks. This year is flying by. The weather has been pretty gloomy for the last week or so, and I'm looking forward to the chilly weather because I am so ready for it! When I saw these two bags in plush fleece, I had to see them for myself in person. Definitely check out the video to see what fits. And Snoopy makes an appearance!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

Fair warning, this post is very image heavy. I tried to cut down as many photos as I could, but there's still a lot of pictures. The plush fleece on the Everywhere Belt Bag is soft, but not quite as soft as the Quilted Grid Tote Bag Mini. Not sure if it's because of the bag or the difference in color. Strawberry Milkshake is the perfect baby pink. It's super cute and definitely very girly.

The hardware is silver, and I feel like it detracts a little bit from the overall soft vibe. The zipper especially stands out against the soft baby pink. I wonder if a white zipper or a pink zipper would have worked better.

The fleece is very plushy, and if you're the type of person that loves to feel soft plushy things, this is for you. Inside is the same as the original Everywhere Belt Bags and can fit the same amount of things.

The price however, is $68, which is a bit more than the usual $38. Is the plush worth the price difference? Only you can decide. I will say that this does have a limit as to how often you can wear it. I would say from November to February is when this would be acceptable to use. Possibly into March if you're in the colder parts of the world.

Now onto the star of this post! The Quilted Grid Tote Bag Mini 5L Plush Fleece in Bone is like petting a rabbit. It's really that soft. It's noticeably softer than the Everywhere Belt Bag Plush Fleece. I'm not really sure why.

I did notice that the bottom of the bag is soft, so if you do have heavy items inside this tote, it will sag a little. This can be fixed if you use a bag insert or a base shaper placed on the bottom of the bag. I personally don't mind a slouchy bag, so it really depends on your preference.

The crossbody strap is fully adjustable and removable. It's very comfortable and I do like this bag a lot. Between the two, the Quilted Grid Tote is the winner, hands down. It can hold more, it's more versatile, and it's softer. I love it in Bone. I almost got it in Strawberry Milkshake, but decided Bone would go with more outfits.

Price is $128 for the Plush Fleece version. The non plush fleece version is $98. I think the price difference is worth it in this case.

Let's take a look at the details of this mini tote.

Hardware is silver and because there's so much plushy fleece surrounding this bag and the zipper is more enclosed, it does not stick out as much. The handles are soooo soft, and very comfortable to hold. I'm actually dying to use this bag already, but it's in the 60s/70s this week and I don't think that's cold enough to carry this bag yet?

The back of the bag has a large zippered pocket.

Inside is just so cozy.

This tote has a lot of slip pockets for organization. One small zippered pocket and two medium sized slip pockets.

The bottom of the bag has two leather strips for feet. Cute!

Back pocket

Side rings to attach the crossbody strap.

I highly recommend this mini tote. I think it's super cute and who doesn't want to carry a furry bag in cold weather? I can't wait!! That's all I have for you today, and check out the video if you want to see what fits. Have a great Monday!

  2. The Quilted Grid Tote Bag Mini 5L Plush in Bone is calling my name but it will get dirty in no time!

I’m surprised that your iPad can fit into the bag cos the dimensions are only 8.2" x 8.2" x 5.5“ according to the product details on the website. I was actually eyeing the larger 12L version which can definitely fit in my iPad. Now you get me wondering if I should give the Mini 5L a try.

The Everywhere Belt Bag Plush Fleece is cute but 1L is too small for my daily use. 95% of the time I would reach for my 2L belt bags. The Tote Bag is way more practical and versatile in my opinion.

I was hoping for an upload last Friday which never happened, and looks like there’s not going to be one today either.

    1. Hi Andrea! Yeah it's not a perfect fit, but it still works. The bottom of the tote narrows slightly, so the ipad doesn't sit perfectly flat.

I was wondering if Lulu would go back to two drops a week for the holidays. I guess we'll see.

  3. Oooo I really want that plush bone tote bag! It is worth the price I think much more than the belt bag! It would pair well with a fuzzy cinnamoroll keychain… it’s on my wishlist for sure after seeing this review -Janessa

    1. Hi Janessa! Thanks! I think the tote is the better choice for sure. If they come out with another color, I might be interested.

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
