Fit Review Friday! Store Try Ons Lululemon Reversible Crossover Sweater, Another Mile Vest

 

Happy Friday! Another store try-on for you! My Lululemon order finally arrived and I will take photos this weekend and have the post up for you next Friday. It's all about Twilight Rose! 

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4/6 in Lululemon. 

Reversible Crossover Sweater Warm Beige Size XS

Longer length in the back.

I am a fan of Lululemon's Reversible Crossover Sweater. I have one from last year that I love wearing. So I was very excited to try it on in Warm Beige. Warm Beige reminds me of Twilight Rose but with a hint of brown undertone. It's very pretty. This sweater is reversible, and I prefer wearing it with the crossover hem in the front. It hits right at the belly button in the front and a little longer in the back. 

The next set of photos show the longer length in the front and the crossover hem in the back. Which way do you prefer? 

The length hits at the hip for me, and both ways feel very comfortable. The sleeves are a bit poofy at the wrists, but with the cuff, they do not feel too long. I'm wearing size XS. I would say it fits similar to size 4/6. 

The crossover hem at the back hits at the waist and I do like how the curved hem runs along the hip line. The fabric feels more knitted than previous versions. The ribbing also feels more substantial and thicker. Otherwise, the fit is the similar.

Next up, we have Another Mile Vest in Twilight Rose. The vest looked really good on the mannequin, so I had to give it a try. I'm wearing size 6.

The photos under the fitting room lighting does not do this color justice. The color in real life looks so much prettier. Even the stock photos on the website make this vest look drab. But in real life the pink/rose has such a nice sheen to it. It's gorgeous in person. 

This vest is quite fitted which is why I sized up to a 6. It allows me to layer a thin sweater underneath. The length is on the longer side. It hits the top of my thigh in the front and has full coverage in the back. I don't usually wear vests, but I think I like this style vest over the Wunder Puff Cropped Vest. I find it easier to move around in. When I wear the Wunder Puff Vest I feel like the tabs on the sides of my neck get in the way. 

Here are some photos of the vest zipped up. The armholes could be a little bigger. I would love to be able to wear a thicker pullover underneath. I also really like the reflective details. I know this is meant for running, but it would also be great for night time walking.

It even looks cute with the hood up. The dickie on the inside is removable. I don't mind the double layered look, I think it works.
