New Releases Week of September 3rd 2024

Interesting drop today! Lots of Oil Gray and I'm not complaining. There's a new pink color (yet again) called Rose Blush. Kind of looks like a lot of the other pinks. I like the look of this grandpa cardigan Knit Button Front Cardigan in Taupetastic. I may give it a go! Also couldn't resist the Softstreme Pintuck MR Pant in Oil Gray. Inseam is ridiculous but if I love it enough, I'll get it hemmed.

Anything for you today?

(Hmmm this looks gigantic, but do I order for a fit review?)

(I may have to get these and have them hemmed.)
😅

(I love this shade of purple, can't wait to see more!)

I was going to order this for a review, but it's already sold out? For $128 too! Wow. Would have never guessed this would go so quickly. It's not really my style, but the vegan leather aspect is interesting. I would have liked to compare it to the vegan leather in our Lucid.

  1. Hi Leslie,
Softstreme Pintuck MR Pant in Oil Gray is so pretty but I’m holding off buying more pants. :(

I ordered the Half Zip Fleece Pullover in Taupetastic and Black Night which I believe is a deep purple (previously Black Swan). Will let you know how they fit.

    1. Hi Andrea! I hear you, but I love Softstreme so much I have to try it.

Ohhhh let me know what you think of the Half Zip Fleece Pullover. Maybe a mini review? =)

  2. Ooooh, Nightfall! Love it! I'd try the redesigned Wunder Unders in that color if they weren't a 25-inch inseam. It looks like they're experimenting with fabrics in the Wunder Unders to see which one will be the most popular, doesn't it? Kind of funny that it's available in several different fabrics, but only one length.

The Pintuck Softstreme Pants are beautiful in Oil Grey. Can't wait to see a review!

    1. Hi Lola! I still have one pair of Wunder Unders in my closet. They're so soft and because of that I can't seem to give them up even though I don't wear leggings anymore.

Same, I will have to pin the pants up for the review LOL.

  3. I'm super excited to see the (new) Wunder Unders in different fabrics. The cut is really flattering and doesn't slip down like the OG version on me. I like the SmoothCover version for casual wear, but they are too thick for my workouts. I'm going to try Nulu and Nulux. @Lola - they should also all release in 28" but I don't think any crops.

The only other thing that caught my eye is the Half Zip Fleece Pullover in Black Night. We have the DS pants in-store in this color, and it reminds me of Midnight Navy. It's darker than True Navy with more purple tones - but still navy. I'd love to see more in this color.

    1. Hi LZ! Hmmm if they release the Wunder Unders in a shorter inseam, I might give them a try. 28" is too long, I need a 23" length!

Black Night is so pretty with the purple undertones! I need to see it in person. I'll try and stop by the store this weekend.

    2. Hi LZ, I'm glad to hear the Wunder Unders are a good fit. Please let us know which fabric is your favorite if/when you get to try them all. Could you remind me - is Smooth Cover a brushed fabric? I think I tried it in a sports bra once, but never in leggings before. That's a bummer the leggings probably won't come out in shorter inseams....:(

    3. @Lola - will do! I plan to try them tomorrow night. :) SmoothCover is brushed and feels very similar to the outer side of Everlux. It's hard for me to tell the difference unless I have them on. Even then, it's close, but SmoothCover feels thicker and more supportive.

I think if Wunder Unders sell well, there's a good chance we will see crops in the future.

    4. I’m just tried (and purchased) both the Nulu and Nulux WUs! They are really nice, and I prefer the cut over Aligns. I am a 2 in Aligns and sized up to a 4 in both since they have a seam on the back. My SmoothCovers are also a 4!

I also tried on the pleated trousers in both a 2 and 4. Both are huge and crazy long (in regular)!! I could probably do a 0, but they might be a smidge too tight in the waist and still massive in the legs.

    5. Ahhhh now you're making me want to try it in Nulu even though I no longer wear leggings. Yeah the Pleated trousers would look comical on me!

  4. Interesting, cactus material. Have you considered the belt bag for a review? Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy! I'm kinda tired of the Everywhere Belt bag TBH. I'm going to see if they will restock the Saddle Crossbody.

  5. Oooo I love the half zip fleece pullover from all the items you listed. I think the cardigan does look huge and really comfy but I think your cashmere pieces look prettier! They brought back the uplifting scrunchies (Big Bow)!! I love mine so much I might have to get one... I also love oil grey. -Janessa

    1. Hi Janessa! Yesss, this is true. My Naked Cashmere pieces are a lot nicer looking, but I am still curious about it and I love a good cardigan. I am looking forward to see what Naked Cashmere has in the next month!!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
