Fit Review Friday! Allbirds Tree Glider - 15% off Your Purchase!

Hi everyone! I'm posting from New Orleans. I'm hitting up a Lululemon while I'm here. I always like to visit other Lululemon stores when I'm traveling. I was planning on having an Aviator Nation review for you guys but Hurricane Helene threw my plans out the window. So I will try and have it up when I get back to Atlanta. In the meantime, here's an Allbirds review.

For reference my street size is 5.5. I'm usually a 5.5 in Allbirds, but for the Tree Gliders they run large. I took these in a size 5. Definitely size down.

I've partnered up with Allbirds! Super excited to share my personal link. Click on my link for a 15% off.

I went to visit the Allbirds store in Avalon and got to try these on in person. I love how they use their shoe laces as the handle to carry the shoe box. It's really cool and love how sustainable they are. Even the packaging is well thought out. Plus you get an extra pair of laces. These shoes are very lightweight, best for light workouts and everyday walking. Its upper is made of tree fiber with a sugarcane-based midsole. The midsole is on the thicker side than what I'm used to. They are very comfortable but the opening of the shoe is wider and not as snug as my Tree Flyers. The toe box is also on the wider side.

Love the pull tabs on the back of the shoe.

The bottom tread is grippier than the Tree Dasher and Tree Dasher Relay which aren't the best in the rain. When it's rainy the Tree Flyer 2s are great.

They are slightly loose in the ankles for me, but I have very thin ankles.

I love the color way of these shoes. It's such a great neutral and will go with almost any outfit. I think it's the best color they have right now in this particular style. If you're interested in these, definitely size down and note that the toe box is wider and if you have a narrow foot, it will be loose and show wrinkles from the excess fabric.

Flash's tail says hello! 😸

That's it for me today! Be safe out there if you're in the path of Hurricane Helene. Have a good weekend!

  1. Hi Leslie,
I'm still waiting for Rugged Purple to show up on the Canadian site and I doubt if Tree Glider will ever make it here! :(

The only thing I like about the Tree Glider is the color combo. The sole looks too bulky to me and I don't like the shape of the toe box which is too "pointy". :) Dashers are still my favorites.

    1. I'm sure the Tree Glider will eventually hit Canada. Maybe next month? My faves are still the Tree Flyers!

  2. Wow I love the colors of those Allbirds so much!! They’re not as stark as white but still a pretty cream :D I do like some pieces but even in markdown I feel like it’s so expensive I’ve been buying Aritzia and really like their TNA waffle 1/4 zip I recently got :) I get XS and it’s a loose TTS for me

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
