Athleta Store Try Ons & Semi Annual Sale Purchases

Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July! Athleta's Semi-Annual Sale is still going on (up to 70% off) and I picked up a few more pieces.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear Petite XS in Athleta and size 4 in Lululemon tops.

Breezy Muscle Tank Size XS on sale $27.97

The last time I tried this tank on the store only had size XXS for me to try. This time they had all sizes and XS is the perfect fit. I really love how light it is, feels similar to linen and it's very soft. The length is perfect, hits at the hip on me. I plan on wearing this to the office underneath some cardigans. I also picked this up in Abalone too.

Okay if you haven't tried the Essential Tank yet, you're really missing out. I think this may be my 4th one!

Essential Tank Navy Size XS on sale $24.99

This tank is definitely my favorite top to wear this summer. I wish there were more colors! Been wearing these to the office and out casually on the weekends. Perfect fit and length. It's also not see-through! Size XS fits me best.

I'm obsessed with their Retroterry Full Zip but sadly, petite sizing is hard to come by these days. They sell out super fast and I really wanted to pick up another color. I'm wearing size XXS in hopes that this would fit similar to Petite XS, but sadly it was just too long in the arms. 😞 I left this behind.

Retroterry Full Zip Cosmic Size XXS on sale $79.99

I'm not sure how much longer the Semi-Annual Sale will go on for, but it's definitely worth checking out! That said, I am looking forward to see what they'll have for fall! Too soon? 😂

  1. I really like the essential tank and I've been looking for a good slub tank! I plan to go try it on in store since I'm not sure on size and it says final sale online.

Did you see the big Vuori sale? I lost my mind a little and ordered quite a few things. 😬 I think.Vuori will take sale items back though, so I may not get stick with the 2 items that I'm iffy on.

Hope you had a Happy 4th!!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
