New Releases Week of March 19th 2024

Pretty sure I'm safe this week, I am a little bit curious about the Bubble Knit Zip Up in Mojave Tan but it still looks a bit cropped on the model even though they say it's a classic fit. 😑 The Align High Rrise Skirt is pricey for a skirt, but it does come with a built in liner. Otherwise, nothing else stood out to me. The dresses are cute, but I'm really not a dress or skirt person!

Did anything catch your eye this week?

(I guess cropped tops really aren't going away anytime soon.)

(I am kind of interested by this, but it still looks cropped to me.)

(This is really cute if I were in the market for a track jacket.)

($78, yikes! I guess because it has the built in short liner. But still!)

  1. The Define Relaxed Fit Jacket in Twilight Rose is really cute! Not a fan of Luon though cos it tends to pill.

My third pair of Allbirds Wool Dasher Mizzles arrived and Thunder Purple looks even prettier than expected! So glad I waited and got them at less than 50% off!

    1. Hi Andrea! I love Twilight Rose but agree, not a fan of Luon. I would have been tempted if it was Nulu.

Wow! That is an amazing good deal on the WD Mizzles. I am looking forward to my Thunder Purple Tree Flyers.

    2. I meant to say I got them at over 50% off. Even better! :D

    3. That is amazing!! Trying to wait out some others I am eyeing, I wouldn't mind another pair of Tree Dashers.

    4. I'm liking Cyber Violet, and I hope that color comes out in an interesting piece. The Ink Islands print caught my eye as well. I'm a sucker for a colorful print; if it comes out in a 23-inch Align pant, it will be mine!

I like the shape of the Wundertrain Super Cropped T Shirt, but WHY does it have to be super cropped? If the length came down to the waist, I think it would be so much better.

    5. Hi Lola! I am waiting for more items to come out in Cyber Violet too. Ink Islands is wild! I do love the combination of colors.

Yeah I just can't do super cropped shirts anymore, not until I get my 6 pack lol!

    6. Agreed about the WT Super Cropped Tshirt. Why?? It looks like a nice cut that would be better as Align Tank length. It looks odd being that short.

The Ink Islands print is a little too loud for me, but it's nice to finally see a new print in Aligns. I find it odd that there are such limited options for the best selling pant.

I tried on the Cropped Trench Jacket in an XS, and it was really cute! I probably could size down to an XXS or even XXXS, as it is really relaxed. That said, it's thin and not lined, so for the $168 price tag, it's a bit expensive.

    7. Hi LZ! The Cropped Trench Jacket also caught my eye. Which color did you like better the Black or Trench? I wish Trench had a little more brown to it. It looks really cute.

    8. We only got the Trench one in store. I didn't even realize there was a Black one online. I think I prefer Trench, since it looks more like a trench coat, but I agree it would look better with a little more brown in it. Black might look more like a blazer...which might actually be pretty cool now that I think about it.

    9. Tempted to try, it would be cool if it could pass off as a blazer!

  2. I want to try the Align HR skirt! Nothing for me this week but I do like the HH HR 2.5" colors available right now -Janessa

    1. Hi Janessa! I am debating about getting Grape Thistle. Just can't get over paying nearly $75 for a pair of shorts though. Also, unsure if the sizing these days. If they are getting smaller I might need a size 6!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
