Fit Review Friday! Athleta Jetset Bomber, Seasoft Bubble Hem Hoodie and Seasoft Straight Pant

Happy Friday! This is the last fit review for 2023. I'm going to wrap up the year with a list of my favorite items and items I wish I didn't purchase.

Let's get to it! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

This Seasoft Bubble Hem Hoodie is super cute on. Like the name, it really is a bubble hem hoodie. The hem at the waist is fitted and slightly stretchy to give it a tucked in bubble-like effect. I'm wearing size XXS and it fits slightly oversized. I think a petite XS would look slightly more flattering and proportional on my frame but it's so cute, I can't really complain. The Seasoft fabric is soft, and similar to Lululemon's Softstreme fabric. I really love both but Athleta is slightly easier on the wallet. This top retails for $99. I did end up bringing this home with me and I also ordered it in Abalone Gray.

I'm a huge fan of Athleta's Seasoft Straight Pant and when I saw this newly released green/gray color I picked it up right away. It does look similar to Lululemon's Dark Forest. Aspen Green is slightly darker with gray undertones. The lighting in the fitting room isn't the best and it looks closest to the first and last photo.

I'm wearing size XXS and I was surprised that it's full length on me. The inseam is 25 inches long and perfect! This also came home with me as well. I've already worn it to the office. Between you and me, they feel like I'm wearing pajamas. 😅 I wish Athleta would release these pants in a true gray. Retail price is $89, which isn't bad at all compared to Lululemon's Softstreme pants cost a minimum of $118 or $89 on WMTM if you can find one in stock.

This is the most accurate representation of the color.

This bomber caught my eye in Abalone Gray. I think this would be more flattering in petite sizing. I'm wearing size XS and it is a bit too long on my frame. This jacket IS available in petite sizing, which is great news. I have a very similar jacket in black from Athleta, so I left this behind.

I love all the ruffles and side zip detail. It's a light to medium weight jacket with a stow away hood. If you're in the market for a new bomber, this gets my pick.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonder holiday weekend and I'll see you all on Boxing Day!

  1. Hi Leslie,
Thanks for the fit review! Quite often hot Athleta items were already sold out in my size by the time your review was up but this time I’m glad I managed to get hold of the Jetset Bomber early enough lol. Don’t wait to risk having my size sold out on Boxing Day so I went ahead to place an order right away.

Not sure if size XS or XXS would fit me better so I ordered both sizes. I’m a sucker for styles with ruchings and just can’t resist to give the Jetset Bomber a try! Will let you know if I like it.

    2. I ordered both Black and Abalone Grey to try on. Will very likely keep the Abalone Grey one if it looks nice on me!

  2. Hi Leslie,
My order arrived and I love the Jetset Bomber in Abalone Grey! Black is nice too but Abalone Grey is prettier. The XXS fits too short on me and I will be keeping size XS. Slightly roomy but that is how I like it to fit. :)

    1. Hi Andrea, nice! I love the Abalone Grey. If I didn't already have one in black from a couple of years ago I would be getting it too. Such a pretty jacket. <3

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
