My Picks From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale !

It's that time of the year again. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open to the public. I rarely shop at Nordstrom, but I do like checking out their anniversary sale to see if there's anything that catches my eye. I posted my favorites from the sale. Did you buy anything? Let me know in the comments. I'm debating if I finally want to try the Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Cardigan this year.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

(These look really cozy.)

(My favorite socks!)

(I pretty much only wear Chantelle now, so comfy.)

(These are super popular, but I still haven't tried for myself.)

(When I do put on make up, these are the best eyeshadow sticks.)

(When I used to live in NY and Boston, I used to love wearing my AllSaints leather jackets! This one is fantastic.)

(I stock up when they're on sale.)

(I love this color!)

(Such a cute outfit.)

  1. I got a pair of Frame bootcut jeans and a Natori bra. It's my usual anniversary sale purchase. I also ordered a couple of things to try, Kut from the Kloth cuffed crop jeans and Vintage Havana shoes. There was a Free People sweater I wanted, but it's sold out in my size. I'll keep watching for a return on that. I'm pondering a pair of loafers with a platform sole (they seem to be back in style), but I'm not 100% so they will probably just sit in my cart. I usually get a plaid Rails shirt, but none of the colors interest me this year.

I love my barefoot dreams cardigans. They are so soft and warm! The fabric makes it look very casual IMO, so I don't think it's a wear to work piece at all. I've never worn my grey one out of my house. I feel like I can get away with it more in black and I've worn that one to run quick errands. It's a nice piece to have, but in hindsight, one was enough!

    1. Hi Stacy! I usually pick up a Rails shirt too, but this year I didn't like any either. I'll have to search Free People, I don't recall seeing any when I browsed. I did end up buying a Barefoot Dreams cardigan but not from the Nordstrom sale, I bought it off another site. It's a pretty color and hopefully I'll understand what the hype is all about! Good to know one is enough lol!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
