New Releases Week of May 24th 2023

Hi everyone! I'm blogging from Raleigh, North Carolina. I really appreciate everyone who left a comment on my last post. I haven't been able to respond to each one, but I will. Seems like the general consensus is we are all bored to a certain extent of these weekly uploads. They are repetitive and not very inspiring but it seems nothing else has been able to replace Lulu either. We are all in a rut together. 😆 Lululemon seems to have lost their way and their rising prices are a bit much to stomach during these uncertain times. I will still post fit reviews for things that interest me and I will also still take fit requests as usual. If there's something you'd like to see outside of Lululemon, do let me know and I'll try to make it happen! I am open to branching out and would like to incorporate other types of reviews as well. It will be interesting to see where the rest of 2023 takes us. I'd like to think we are all in this together.

As for today's upload, I apologize for being so late. Apparently, accountants really like to party after hours. 😅 So far, I have a couple of items in my cart, but have not checked out yet. Maybe I will, but maybe I won't!

(I love this color! It looks amazing.)

(I would love this in the crop length)

(This is actually a really pretty color and I think that's a gold zipper?)

  1. Like others mentioned, I'm looking forward to reading whatever content you decide to post, Leslie! I enjoy the community and reading others' comments here.

I ordered the Nulu & Mesh Yoga Shorts since I missed out on them last year. The Track That 3" Shorts in Poolside have been in a my cart for a while, so I finally ordered those, too. I'm so happy to see the return of Poolside. It's one of my favs.

I forgot to mention the Ribbed Softstreme Cropped Tank fits tts but has very little stretch. It's a journey to get on/off but fits nicely once it's in its assigned seat. It's similar to the Power Pivot Tank cut.

    1. Hi LZ! Thank you so much, appreciate your support!

I am waiting for more colors in Hotty Hots. I love the look of the Ribbed Softstreme set, I don't think I can pull it off.

  2. I ordered the nulu cropped define in twilight rose! If lipgloss and twilight rose dropped separately, I might have ordered both but if I had to choose, I choose Twilight rose!

I think the gold zipper on the green scuba looks stunning! But I'd prefer it in a cropped length.

Also tempted by the mesh nulu yoga shorts due to its raving reviews but I'm unsure if I like the silhouette on me... Usually I go for shorter and or tighter shorts for workout

    1. Hi there! I love the Cropped Define jacket in Twilight Rose! It looks so pretty, it's hard to resist. I think you made the right choice between the two colors.

Same, I don't think I can pull off the Mesh Nulu Yoga shorts.

  3. Nothing for me but it's good they're releasing lots of HH HR because I want a baby pink pair. Meadowsweet pink would be amazing.

    1. Hi Janessa! I would be interested in Meadowsweet HH HR or even in Twilight Rose or Dark Oxide!

    2. Ooh, I'd love a meadowsweet pair of HHs too!! The color looks so pretty! I hope it looks like that IRL. I'm also loving pistachio. I'm tempted, but it looks similar to the scream green color from last year and I already have those.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
