New Arrivals Week of March 7th 2023

Lots of Tidal Teal today! The only thing I really like from today's drop is the Mixed Fabric 1/2 Zip Pullover in Bone. Has anyone tried anything from this line so far? I love the look and vibe but I'm almost 100% sure it's not petite friendly. So far nothing for me this week, but I'm open to more fit requests! Drop me a comment below if you want to see something reviewed.

(The cropped trend continues!)

(I like the pullover, but can do without the matching pant)

(Lots of sizes are now back in stock in almost all colors!)

(kinda cute!)

 New from Vuori

(These actually look like a great dupe for Lulu's OTF Pant but without the drawstring!)

(This looks super cute, might have to give this a go.)

  1. Nothing for me today! I'm still waiting to see if we get the Softstreme bomber jacket that's previewed in some of the model photos. There's also a mesh half-zip and a zip dress w/o built-in shorts that look nice!

    1. Hi LZ! I haven't seen the Softstreme bomber jacket, but I'm very interested in anything Softstreme.

  2. I’m interested in the Miles Ankle Pant but it is not available on the Canadian site yet. Finally something with a mid rise!

    1. Hi Andrea! I may place an order for a fit review. The color Ash looks to be a gray color, which I really would like. Gray pants seem to be few and far between.

    2. Oh I overlocked and thought the Miles Ankle Pant was from Lulu. So disappointed! :(

    3. Out of curiosity, do you have Vuori in Canada?

    4. Just googled and found their Canadian website! I remember checking months ago and Vuori clothings were only available via a few sportswear clothing stores! I’m in trouble, Leslie! :D

Now I’m really looking forward to your fit review on the Miles Ankle Pant!

    5. Oh wow, nice! I would be curious what your thoughts are on the Performance Joggers, they're my favorite and wear them all the time. I think the long length size XXS would be perfect for you. I'll place a Vuori order this week!

    6. I will be away so best hold off ordering anything until I come back in mid April. I’m looking forward to your fit reviews though! :)

    7. Hello Andrea, what size do you think you’ll try in the miles ankle pant? I’m usually an XS but some reviews have said they’re a bit tight….

  3. hi Leslie! I'm happy to see more spring colours like Tidal Teal and Sunny Coral. Nothing for me this week, but if you end up getting the Miles Ankle Pant, I'd love to know what you think of them!

    1. Hi Karen! I think I will give it a try, seems like there's enough interest!

  4. The Miles Ankle Pant has caught my eye as well! It really does look very similar to the OTF pant.

As far a Lulu goes, I'm quite intrigued by the Smooth Fit High Rise Cropped Pants. They're a 26 inch inseam, so they'd probably be full length on most of us petites!

I ordered the Mixed Fabric Zip Hoodie with the full intention of sending it back after I tried it on. It is a very cool style, and I really like the look of it, but it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is, in my opinion. I think for $178 CDN, it should at least be lined or something. I found it to be quite oversized, but not in a sloppy way. I thought the fabric would be similar to the Rogue Renegade Hoodie, but it just feels cottony to me. I would consider buying it if it goes on markdown, but I don't think it's worth the regular price.

    1. Hi Lola! I was looking at the Smooth Fit High Rise Cropped Pant, for me it depends on how high rise it is. But ouch, are the prices for pants going to be $148 now?

Hmmm I do want to see the Mixed Fabric Zip Hoodie for myself. I might have to order it. Seems like I have a lot of fit reviews coming up! I can't believe it's $178 though... ouch.

  5. I got the java EBB! Hopefully the new downgrade in EBB quality isn't so bad... The mixed fabric pullover is cute but the price!! So many HH HR colors in stock... I really want a baby pink one since my strawberry milkshake never showed up last year :(

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
