Fit Request Friday! Athleta Haul Part 3 Swing Forward Tank, Endless Pant, Stella Wide Crop

Happy Friday! This is the last of my Athleta haul from the Members Event sale. The Swing Forward Tank and Stella Wide Crop are fit requests. I wanted to see the Endless Pant for myself.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS and 0 Petite in Athleta. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

The Swing Forward Tank only comes in regular sizes so I went with size XXS. The length is petite friendly with it being shorter in the front and longer in the back. I also love the pleats but they do add a bit of volume to the back of the tank. The tank looks really cute from the side. The V-neck isn't too low in the front in size XXS. I'm usually a size 4 in Lulu tops and a size 6 in their bras, and this tank is just a little bit too tight in the chest and armpit area on me. Sizing up could be an option as long as the V-neck isn't too low-cut. I love the teal and navy color blocking . The teal is more green than blue, but my camera is picking up the blue more in these photos. Overall, I like the tank and right now it's currently on sale for $87.20. Price is still steep in my opinion but if you can stack an additional 20% off, it might be worth it.

Next, we have the Endless Pant in Bali Green. I have been looking for pants I can wear to the office since my discontinued On the Fly Pants have been working really hard and I've been on the hunt for a good replacement.

also wearing Rothy's The Driver
(I really need to get a different color in these. This color only works with jeans and black pants, but they're SO comfortable!)

Has zippered pockets!

I'm wearing size 0 Petite and the waist is generous. The fabric for the waistband is made of Powervita, similar to Lululemon's Nulu which means it's very soft and stretchy and super comfortable. The waistband sits at my belly button. The fabric for the rest of the pant is Primastretch - soft and wrinkle resistant with a nice weight. I would say it's a medium weight fabric, leaning towards the heavier side. The Endless Pant is professional enough for the office and the length is perfect for petites. Length measures 25.5" long. This style does run large and the fit is too baggy on the thigh and leg. I would prefer a straight leg. I ended up returning these and my hunt continues!

Last but not least, the Stella Wide Crop is another fit request. I'm wearing my usual size 0 Petite and the waist is snug. I think if I were to eat a full meal in these pants, I would need to go up a size. 😅 The waistband does not have a lot of stretch.

Stella Wide Crop Black Size 0P
also wearing Rothy's The Driver
(Looks much better with black pants, right?)

These pants are made from Italian Eurolux fabric which feels smooth to the touch but is quite heavy. The length measures 21.5 inches and hit above the ankles on me. I think the wide leg plus the cropped length isn't flattering.

The pant tapers slightly at the bottom.

Side zip with a clasp.

High-rise waist hits above the belly button.

Lovely fabric, but not a fan of the cut and the length combination. Price is also steep at $129. This was an easy pass for me. If you are interested in trying these for yourself I would consider sizing up. I ended up returning all three of these items, but overall, I did end up keeping five items from this sale. That's all I have for you today! Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

  2. Hi Leslie. It’s Cindy. I searched your previous posts and saw that you did a store try on of the Brooklyn ankle pants from athleta. They were too long and you mentioned you ordered the petite online and loved them. Did you do a post of the petite ones? If not can I please request a review? Thanks so much. Only if it’s no trouble.

    1. Hi Cindy! Here's the petite review, let me know if you still want to see more photos, but the length is actually perfect.

  3. Thank you for another great fit review! Of the three items, I like the Endless Pant best on you. I'm glad it's a heavier fabric - I find a lot of Athleta's pants that I've tried are pretty sheer.

And especially thanks for the Stellar Wide Crop review. I love the cut of them, but I agree with you, they'd be better if they were full-length. I see the Tall inseam is 26.5 inches. I'm kind of tempted to try them to see how that looks. The rise might end up being all out of whack though.

    1. Hi Lola! Endless Pant was close, but a little too baggy for my tastes.

If you do try the Stellar Wide Crop in the tall inseam, let me know if that works for you. They also taper a bit at the bottom, which I thought was a little bit off too.

    2. By the way, the Ebb To Street High Neck Tank arrived, and it's going right back. It's cut really narrow in the front, so there was a concerning lack of coverage. I might reorder in a larger size to see if that helps the situation, because I really liked the length and the style of the back.

    3. Oh that was fast. Good to know about the narrow front. I love the look of it overall.

  4. The Endless Pant looks so nice! It's a shame the fit was just a bit off. I think the LLL Pull-On pants are my new office go-to's. I'm looking forward to seeing what you think! Have a nice weekend. :)

The fabric on the Endless Pant is really nice. I wish it worked for me.

  5. hi Leslie! Thanks for the fit reviews! I agree that both pants look too wide to be flattering, at least for petites. Thanks for the heads-up on the All birds sale. I ordered the Wool Flyer Mizzles in Hazy Indigo. I had my eye on these shoes since they were out. Now that they're on sale, I can no longer resist! Have a great weekend!

  6. Love those last pants the most on you! I think a good pair of black wide leg pants is so flattering and versatile! I looked at the AllBirds sale and it's so amazing but I have enough shoes... Hope you have a great weekend!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
