New Releases Week of February 28th 2023

I can't believe it's the last day of February! Who made it through to the end in our Frugal February challenge?! Lots of new goodies today. I am very interested in adding the Ebb To Street Cropped Racerback Tank in Green Jasper to my collection. Lots more Velvet Dust and Tidal Teal items dropped. The Scuba Oversized Half Zip Hoodie Tidal Teal looks amazing. New colors-  Align HR Short 6" Wild Indigo and Velvet Dust. Would love to get the Hotty Hot HR 2.5" Short Bone as long as it isn't see through.

Did you get anything from this drop? If you would like to see a fit review of something, let me know in the comments below!

(If this is released in the full zip version I might have to get it.)

😍

(ohhhh I wonder if these are see-through!)

(I dig the look, but def not petite friendly!)

(Great for petites, also available in black!)

  1. I ordered the Mint Moment HH HR 2.5's. They've been in my cart for a while, but I'd like to start stocking up a bit on shorts before summer hits, and they sell out in 2 mins. Plus, it's already 80+ degrees in Texas!

I'm interested in the F&F 2" Airflow shorts. They are an inch shorter than the Find Your Pace Shorts - which was always the only thing that bothered me about them. For $88, though?? That's pretty crazy for shorts with a 2" inseam. I'll wait a while.

    1. Hi LZ! I'm thinking the same thing. I am probably going to order the HH HR 2.5 in Bone if they haven't sold out already. It's in the 70s in Atlanta so we're right behind you!

The F&F Airflow shorts look cute, but I don't know about $88 though! There aren't any reviews yet either. I'd wait too.

  2. HH HR in Blue Chill WMTM is $49! :) sizes 2-12. I didn't make it to the end of the month not buying anything but I was definitely much more mindful! I want the HH HR in bone but I have a white pair... I wonder if it's worth getting?

    1. Hi Janessa! Thanks for the heads up on the Blue Chill HHs. I'm sure those will sell out fast. If you were more mindful this month, I'd take that as a win. I didn't quite make it either. But I almost did! I am probably going to get the HH HR in Bone but I just hope they're not see-through. I would say they're probably different enough to get both? Or you can always return it if it's too close. I don't have any shorts in White.

  3. hi Leslie! Yay! It's the last day of month and I didn't buy anything, so Frugal February is a success for me! The Peek Pleat High-Rise Tennis Skirt looks like a nice update to the Play Off The Pleats Skirt, but why is it $30 more expensive!?? I want to get it in Wild Indigo, but can't justify spending $98+tax on a skirt. I hope it goes to WMTM!

The Tree Dasher Relay in Calm Teal looks great! I want them, but I have way too many shoes, so I gotta practise some self-control on this one!

    1. Hi Karen! Congratulations on making it through without buying anything! That is amazing. Yeah the new design doesn't seem to be much different to justify the price difference. I guess it's Lulu's new pricing. =T I'm sure it will go to WMTM!

I have too many shoes too, but I love the color!!!!! I don't think I can resist. May have to get rid of some pairs though to make room.

    2. Hi Karen,
The Allbirds Tree Dasher Relay in Calm Teal is really pretty in person. It’s my second pair of Relay and like Leslie said, the color is hard to resist! :)

    3. Hi Andrea, That's great to hear that the colour is nice in person! I will keep them on my wish list for now. I may not be able to resist once all the snow melts in Toronto =).

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
