New Releases Week of February 21st 2023

Lots of Velvet Dust items and I am loving it. I'm so tempted to get the matching set -  Ebb To Street Cropped Racerback and Hotty Hot HR Short 2.5". I'm also loving Chambray and hope to see more items in that color too. Let me know what you got from this drop! Let me know if you broke your ban or not! I do have a fit review of the Scuba Full-Zip Cropped Hoodie coming this Friday. 😍

(ooh this is added to my wish list!)

(Fit review coming Friday!)

(Ugh also on my wish list, guys I may break my ban! Also available in Symphony Blue.)

  1. Velvet Dust is so pretty and I love it in the Softstreme Perfectly Oversized Cropped Crew and matching pant set! When will LLL start offering bottoms in petite sizing?

Nothing else interests me. I’m hoping Graphite Grey will be available in the Stretch High Rise Pant 7/8. It’s sold out in the 23” crop. :(

    1. Hi Andrea! Velvet Dust is a color I want a matching set in! It's so pretty. I thought we were finally going to get Asia Fit in the US, but sadly it still hasn't happened yet. Very disappointing.

Hopefully they will restock the Graphite Gray for you soon!

  2. Well, it's not a no-buy month for me , but at least it's a low-buy/closet purge month. I ordered the Velvet Dust HH HR 2.5s. I've been waiting for something in that color, and those are my absolute favs. I wear multiple pairs per day in spring/summer/fall - one for daily wear and another for working out.

I tried on the Adapted State Airflow Joggers last night and really like them. They have some technical features I don't need but are super comfortable. I like the original ASJ, but the material is a bit rough. I'll sit on those for at least a few days since the price is high at $138!

    1. Hi LZ! Velvet Dust is going to break my no-buy too. Well at least we made it to the tail end of February! I live in my HHs too, so I totally get it.

I wish Lulu would include the inseam lengths to the product descriptions like Athleta does. It's the least they can do with their rising prices! =D

  3. Is the bone color pretty much ivory? If so I want a scuba, but I’m going to wait for the Friday fit review, I would prefer the short version if it’s short but not crop on me (5’3”) although the bone is sold out in my size ( I wear 2 in regular scubas and 4 defines, so I’m assuming I would need a 2?)

    1. Hi there! Bone is probably close to White Opal, I can do a comparison pic with Bone, Natural Ivory and White Opal with my Friday's post. It is pretty cropped. Depending on your torso, it is going to be short. And yes, you'll probably want to go with a size 2.

    2. I wear sz 4 in cropped define, sz 2 in scuba plush. For cropped scuba, both sz 2 and 4 fit but I prefer sz 4 as it's less cropped on me (I'm 5'1) and there's more breathing room in the lower band area. So yeah, depending on how u would like it to look on u, either size would be ok!

  4. I would love to see nomad and or velvet dust in cropped define or cropped scuba! Sadly nothing for me for this drop

    1. That's okay Blueberries, there's always next week! I am liking Nomad too, but it kind of looks another version of Carob Brown.

    2. So interesting, I wonder why only the size 2 is $58. I caved and bought the Velvet Dust HH! =T

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
