New Arrivals Week of January 31st 2023

It's the last day of January! Final hours to get your orders in before Frugal February begins. Get it out of your system now. 😆 This was an interesting upload. Lots of new items in Velvet Dust which I approve of. Lots of new in different shades of blue. The Always Effortless Trench looks awesome, but sadly it will be too overwhelming for us petites. Let me know what you ordered and if you're joining me next month for Frugal February let me know! More the merrier!

(Also in Bone!)

(Anyone else find it super annoying when they don't disclose the length of the inseam?)

(Also in Velvet Dust.)

(Not new, but restock)

(Also in Bone.)

(The new Vapor Looks nice too.)

(Restock!)

Vuori New Arrivals

(My fave joggers in new colors! My wish list just got a little longer. 😆)

(Would love to try this also, looks so cozy and cute.)

  1. I like the grey V-waist Aligns but already have them in black. Nothing for me today! Bring on Frugal Feb!!

I can't remember which international site it was, but I recently saw a *mid-rise pant* in Travel Woven. OTF revamp, perhaps? I preferred Luxtreme but will would be open to almost any mid-rise dressy pant option these days.

    1. Hi LZ! Interesting, I would def try the MR Travel Pant. I did try the Stretch HR Pant and they just didn't work for me. I have been holding on to my 4 pairs of OTF pants for dear life. They're my go to for the office along with Athleta's Brooklyn Ankle Pant. Those can be dressed up easily, especially the black pair. Navy works well too.

  2. hi Leslie! I think the Brooklyn jogger is a good replacement for OTF joggers. While the style is slightly different, the fit is similar and the shorter inseam of the Brooklyn jogger fits me better. Athleta bottoms are slowly overtaking Lululemon ones in my drawer! I've been on a low buy since January and will join you in no-buy for February~

    1. Hi Karen! I agree, I have way more Athleta bottoms than Lulu bottoms. They're just more flattering for us petites. I love the Brooklyn Jogger for sure. I wish I could wear them to the office, but they're still too casual but happy I can at least wear Brooklyn Ankle Pants. Yay! I'm glad to have some good company going into Frugal February. Looks like we're getting a decent sized group to participate this year. =D

  3. Velvet dust is so pretty and I LOVE those HH HR shorts in that color. My all time favorite pair I wear are my HH LR daydream. I wish those were HR but I love that color. Not too white where I'm scared to dirty them but still really light. I will wait til March to buy anything though.

    1. Hi Janessa! Yep, I'm eyeing Velvet Dust but will wait too. I haven't ventured into super light shorts. But I admire from afar. Stay strong!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
