Review! Allbirds Wool Flyer Mizzles + 20% off Code!

Happy Friday! Today, I have an Allbirds review of the Wool Flyer Mizzles featuring Flash! Flash is always such a nosybody and super curious about everything. He's so adorable I can't say no to him. He will be appearing in many of these photos. 😹

For reference my normal size at Allbirds is 5.5 which is the same as my sneaker size.

Before I get into the Wool Flyer Mizzles review, I do want to say I have the Tree Flyers in two colors; Cream Hush and Lux Pink. They're great running shoes and if you're curious you can also read my review on Tree Flyers if you missed it.

I purchased these in size 5.5 and they do feel just a smidge more narrow than the Tree Flyers and slightly shorter in length as well. For me, the Tree Flyers were fine in width, but a little too long in length. The Wool Flyer Mizzles are perfect in length but a little narrow. I have to wear these sockless, or with very thin socks. I'm hoping maybe the wool will stretch over time. If you have wider feet, try sizing up. I would try a couple of sizes to make sure you find the best fit.

Let's take a closer look at the details. The merino wool is lined with an extra coating of biobased layer for water protection. This helps keep your feet warm and dry in rainy weather runs. Personally, I am more of an outdoor walker than an outdoor runner. I can't comment on how these actually perform while running in the rain. Walking in the rain seems to be fine with the extra grippy soles. I really love the pink and black sole. I wouldn't recommend wearing these in heavy rain, but in a light drizzle, it's fine.

I went with Buoyant Pink and it does remind me of Pepto pink, but still very pretty. They also come in Hazy Indigo which would have been my second choice. All colors are currently on sale too!

I have to say if you love the Tree Flyers, I found these to feel just as comfortable. I'll be reaching for these Wool Flyer Mizzles throughout the chilly months. It's also quite rainy in Atlanta right now, so these are perfect.

The seamless wool ankle opening is snug to keep the elements out. These also come with the thin cardboard inserts, I guess the thicker inserts are being phased out.

Carbon footprint label.

These retail for $160 and the sale price is $134. If you use my link you can also get a free pair of Trino socks with your order. That's it for me! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Thanks for the review, Leslie! Most of my Allbirds are Mizzles and I've worn them in heavy rain without getting wet or being slippery.

I don't do running and the Wool Flyer Mizzles look a bit too sporty for me, and the soles are too thick for my liking. Buoyant Pink is so pretty though! I use my Allbirds for everyday walking. :)

I can't take my eyes of the new Women's Wool Dasher Fluffs in Thrive Teal/Deep Emerald (White Sole). They are soooooo cute!

    1. Hi Andrea! Wow good to know! I will be wearing them this weekend then. It's going to be very rainy out.

I love the sporty look, and I love the soles on the Flyers. They're just so bouncy and comfortable. I would get them in more colors.

The Wool Dasher Fluffs look really cute. Not sure if I would get another pair though, I already have one in the Fluffs. Have to draw the line! LOL.

  3. hi Leslie! Thanks for the fit review! The Wool Flyer Mizzles look very good in pink and it's great to hear that they're comfortable. I don't need more shoes, but I'm tempted to get the blue ones.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
